BRAVO CITY HOTEL — Hotel in Sri Lanka

I stayed at Bravo City Hotel for one night in May, 2017. As I was planning to stay in Kurunegala for only one night after visiting Yapahuwa and to move to Colombo by bus on the following day, I was looking for accommodation along Colombo road so that I could catch a bus to Colombo easily and decided to stay at Bravo City Hotel. The hotel is located within 30 minutes walk distance from the bus terminal in Kurunegala or the Clock Tower and faced Colombo road. However, there were very few restaurants around the hotel and I had dinner as well as breakfast at the restaurants located on the ground floor. Although the room I stayed at was clean and equipped with air-con as well as hot shower, the room faced Colombo road and I could not sleep well since a lot of cars and lorries were passing by through the night. If you have a difficulty in sleeping under such circumstances, I recommend not to stay at this hotel and to find another one not facing...

We wanted to book the banquet hall for an event. Very unprofessional and rude the way manager behaved when we went to book the banquet hall. Earlier said 350 seats can be provided but then said only 200 chairs available at site and the remaining plastic chair they have to take from somewhere else, which comes without covers. Some of the lights are not working, but they were promising it works. Carpet has large stains which they promised to cover but they never wanted to do that. When I repeatedly inquired on these matters manager said ‘it looks like you are looking for a neat and orderly place, we can’t provide that’. Further they have parking problem too. They tell lots of lies and give promises which they never intended to fulfill. I will never recommend this place to anyone. If you are going to book this place for your big day please think twice.
