❤️I loved my stay here! The owner Dave is super kind as well as the rest of the staff and after arriving late at night, I got shown to a private room, I'm not sure if it was actually part of coco hostels and of course I can't comment on the dorms. My sleep was comfy, quiet and cool with the fan above me :)
😇It was a blessing I got put in the private room though as it was my birthday so made it really special for me, the staff all wished me well and were super nice. Dave helped me find a beautiful spot to watch the sunrise from, the beach is about 3-5 minutes walk, really close!
✌️They have laundry service, I cant remember the price though. The hostel was actually very social, lots of talkative and kind people, met some cool guys there :) I would return for sure.
🫶Really enjoyed my stay here, a true gift to experience over my birthday and I'm very thankful to all those who made it special, including coco hostels. I thanked Dave for the private room and I liked his answer - 'it was not me, it was the universe' along them lines anyway, cool guy and beautiful message....
Read moreI stayed here for 4 weeks. I slept in the fan room, on the lower bunk. The owner is great, he's a young entrepreneur - smart and knows his business. He's helpful and has good knowledge about the ins and outs of Arugambay.
The hostel is comfortable, clean and quiet. I had a night or two at Long Hostel, which was fun but simply too loud and crazy for me. Coco is more peaceful and I got to know everyone in the hostel which was good.
Plenty of surfboard storage racks inside which is secure. There is a locker for your valuables in the dorm. The aircon room is worth the upgrade in terms of comfort and space for your stuff, as well as a nicer outdoor bathroom.
Make sure you book early, as you might get a better rate and it...
Read moreWe had a marvelous stay at Coco Hostels! The breakfast is the best in town. You can order musli bowls, omlettes, sandwiches and the like. Also the various coffees are great to have a good start into the day.
We stayed in the two bed private room, which had its own bathroom. The AC is pretty well located as is not blowing straight onto the bed.
The hostel is two minutes walking distance to the part of the beach, which is open for swimming with life guards. The surfing main point is also only a 10 minutes walk from there.
The owner is super friendly and helpful and has a WhatsApp group for all guest to keep them up to date. We can in particular recommend the Rotti dinner night, which was a nice gathering to get...
