Ella bay homestay — Hotel in Sri Lanka

We’ve stayed at Ella bay homestay for 3 nights. The owners (mother and son) were very lovely. The location is very good. It’s only a few minutes drive to the main road. The view at the homestay is amazing. It feels like you are in the middle of the jungle. You can spot a lot of monkeys when you’re having breakfast outside. The hospitality was amazing. Mother and son did everything to make our stay comfortable. We got tea whenever we wanted and the owner drove us to the city multiple times in his tuktuk. The breakfast was big and very good. We had a wonderful stay at Ella Bay HomeStay . Himasha, whose mother Kusum runs the HomeStay, is a fantastic guide, full of good ideas and very knowledgeable. He also runs a tuk tuk so rides any where are at your door step. Our room was clean and had a powerful fan and a good en-suite. Beautiful view from the terrace where Kusum presented us with a fabulous breakfast, the best we have had.
