Absolutely amazing stay at Moon Rock Ella Hotel, truly one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. The location is perfect: just a short, easy walk from Ella’s center, yet peaceful and quiet enough to unwind. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a relaxed atmosphere, ideal after a day of exploring.

Before we could even panic, the host ran all the way to the train station to bring them back to us – an unforgettable act of kindness. On top of that, our laundry was returned beautifully folded and wrapped like a gift, they really care about their guests.
If you’re going to Ella, don’t think twice: stay at Moon Rock Ella Hotel. We’d come back in...

The location is great, a short walk to Ella Town Centre, walkable to Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock and Nine Arch Bridge but is on a quiet street so there’s not a lot of noise.
The hotel itself is lovely, well appointed rooms, comfortable beds and plenty of space. Breakfast in the morning is incredible! We had both the western and Sri Lankan options on different days and they tasted amazing! Make sure you are hungry as the spread is huge with fresh juice, fruit, bread and omelettes!
The real superstar is Obey the host. He is so friendly and lovely and goes the extra mile and more. His family are also really friendly and it makes this such a great place to...
