Hiru Lagoon Negombo — Hotel in Sri Lanka

What a wonderful start to our holiday, Hiru Lagoon is a perfect oasis of tranquility. The rooms are well designed and the outdoor space is just beautiful. With the incense burning and the sun setting over the lagoon we felt relaxed immediately upon arrival.

There are only 3 rooms so there’s always space outside for all guests, and the pool is the perfect spot to relax. The garden is well designed so that even though it’s small, there is enough semi-private space for each room.

We had dinner and breakfast, both of which were delicious. Dinner was a choice of seafood/meat/vegetable curry, we chose seafood and it was absolutely incredible. The cuttlefish and prawns were insanely good, so fragrant and perfectly cooked. The breakfast was also delicious with coconut & honey pancakes, fried eggs on toast and a fruit platter.

Unfortunately our bags did not arrive when we landed so we were much later than expected, however Isha provided us with Suncream, Citronella and sun hats. Even when the bags weren’t going to arrive until after check out, she let us stay and relax in the beautifully maintained gardens.

We stayed at Hiru Lagoon with family on a B&B basis. The reservation process was smooth with advance payment, and getting there was easy with clear directions on Google Maps. The resort has parking for three vehicles, matching the number of rooms available. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner and offered a refreshing tea (a cold option was also available).

Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with air conditioning. They kindly added an extra bed upon request to accommodate us. The bathroom was well-maintained and spotless. However, the room lacked tea-making facilities and a TV.

The swimming pool, though small, was perfect for a relaxing dip and was situated by the lagoon, creating a picturesque view. The garden around the pool was beautifully landscaped, offering plenty of spots for photos.

We enjoyed a restful sleep, and morning tea was served by the poolside. Breakfast was not only delicious but also artfully presented. The owner was courteous and very customer-friendly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly...

This is one of a best hotel in Negombo. the view of the pool is amazing and super clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we received a cup of tea and piece of cake as a evening snack without prior request. if you wish to relax your mind and heal your soul, then this is the best place and also this place is located around good neighborhood. the lady who was met us at the property. she was very kind as well as she always tried to make sure our stay keep comfortable.
