Overall it’s not a very pleasant place to have your vacation spent. It’s really difficult to reach the place with your own vehicle. Need to park the vehicle 1.5km away and had to take a bolero to reach the place. Bolero charges Rs 2000 per each trip so two way it’s Rs 4000. And the lady at the parking slot charged us Rs.500 per vehicle to take care of. (We were not aware such till we get there) The rooms were not well maintained and well cleaned. Had a bad smell in almost all rooms. All light bulbs were not working in many rooms so the rooms were bit dark at night. Hot water supply is terrible. We had to have a wash with cold water in the late evening bcs hot water was out of supply, we don’t know why. Not a small piece of soap in wash rooms. The caretaker/ the person who prepared meals was good and friendly. Meals were okay too. (For meals, you need to bring with you everything from the very basics, the salt, curry powder, chili powder and everything). The price is okay for the number of heads they offer. Kaaya eco resort located at a very beautiful location. Place was nice. Food was quite ok. Surrounding was beautiful. Package i received is also fairble. I could give all the 5 starts except these things. Some times no hot water at bathrooms. We were running here and there seeking hot water to clean our babies in the morning. (Keeping them in bathrooms). The lady who offered me the package, told me that they have arrnaged parking facilities since our cars coudnt reach the hotel. But we had to stop our cars in a side of main road. Infront of a store. ( store guy wanted 2000 from us to look after out cars) (a one gentlemen from the management reduced the parking charge from the bill). The mahindra truck charged 3000 per a trip. I questioned abiut that as the booking lady told me truck charge is 2000. After my inquiry they arranged to bear one way charge and i had to bear the other. Some rooms were not cleaned properly.
