Read moreWe encountered significant issues with the service provided by paddyway resort Arugambay. After placing an order, we experienced an excessive delay of one hour and ten minutes before our food was delivered. Upon receiving our order, we immediately noticed an unpleasant odor emanating from the fish dish.
We promptly contacted the manager to address the issue. After tasting the food, the manager brought the chef who dismissed our concern, stating that the smell was not an issue but rather a characteristic taste. Furthermore, we were taken aback by the chef's disrespectful remarks, insinuating a preference against serving locals.
It is worth noting that despite this discriminatory attitude, the restaurant charges the same prices for all customers. Frustrated by this treatment, one of our companions raised their voice in dissatisfaction. In response, the restaurant staff resorted to inappropriate threats, indicating that we could not remain in the town.
The conduct displayed by the staff was unprofessional and inappropriate. We were deeply disappointed by their lack of customer service and disrespectful behavior...
Read moreI really can’t say enough positive things about this hotel. We arrived at 4pm without a reservation as our ‘reserved’ hotel told us they had given away our booked rooms upon our arrival. It was fate since we ended up in a much, much nicer room at Paddyway. The manager and his team are running a great environment, and having checked out most of the hotel options in the area, I can honestly say it’s in a different league than other options. We enjoyed one of the family rooms, where each of our children had their own bed. It was lovely. The hotel is an easy 3 min walk to the Main Street, with bars and restaurants, and there is beach access at multiple points within 5 min walk. We enjoyed ‘Refresh’ spa at the end of the road, as well as the beach bar ‘Moloko’ which gave us free lounge chairs and icy cold beers. The hotel has a massive pool, with lights that were switched on so that we could enjoy evening swimming…We would stay here again in a heartbeat we fully recommend...
