One of the city hotels in the textile town of Borås is the Quality Grand hotel which is located by the river just of the town centre. It is about a half hour drive from the airport in Gothenburg and a 5 minute walk from the train station. There are a few parking spaces in front of the hotel but there is a parking house just across in the shopping centre. The hotel is nice and modern and is a solid 3 star hotel, the lobby is located on the ground floor where you also have a bar and restaurant as well as a small pantry. Breakfast is served on the second floor and third floor is the conference floor. There is also access to a Spa which is located at the other end of the hotel. There are also plenty restaurants...

there are very loud construction noises from 7am (drilling, hammering)

the bathroom floor floods when putting the shower on
Overall, I would not recommend, particularly if you’re looking to get some quality sleep, or have a...

Additionally, the dimmer lights by the bedside didn't have dimmer bulbs, which was quite surprising and a bit frustrating 😅.
On the positive side, the gym and sauna facilities were excellent, and the staff were amazing—very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and fancy, adding a touch of luxury to the stay. Overall, a decent stay but the room amenities need improvement to match the hotel's...
