I had lunch with family yesterday as we went for a trip to Borås. I had read mixed reviews before choosing this restaurant, so wanted to give a try. Starter we ordered chicken garlic tikka, which was of good quantity but served to me without a sauce. I though there is no sauce, but when I was finishing to last bite, there was sauce given saying it was for tikka. of course we took 10 to 15 mins to finish the tikka platter and I forgot to ask whether there as sauce with tikka or not. For veg thali the paneer gravy seemed to have smoky taste and it was not the "real indian taste" the way its tagged. I ordered chicken biriyani which was of good quantity. No complain about the biriyani as it was average which was served with Raita. The Raita served was bit sweet as it was with sugar which was tasty. However my kid wanted to eat plain rice without sweet yoghurt and I got yoghurt without sugar in a small bowl which was charged 29SEK. I don't know whether plain yoghurt was to be charged. Later when we order pista kulfi ice creams, it was with zero sugar. I was thinking how can be a kulfi made without sugar. The answer was it was meant for people who prefers less sugar here. Better that could have been told to us while ordering itself and not to waste the money. Customer service to motivate, they should not have charged the kulfi or replaced with some other sweet. Swedish folks will surely like the food here but for Indians who wants spicy flavours can write the...
Read moreFirstly, deliciously flavoured food. The portion sizes were good, and the nan wash fresh. Also mains come with rice which is great! Secondly, good service and space. Quick and attentive, but also just a nice room and outdoor area. Mains seem to be mostly 120-160 or so and they've lunch deals. Comments! Coriander, I'm a fan- I ordered coriander nan and there was fresh coriander on the main. In case you're not a fan they could probably avoid seasoning things. Alcohol- currently unavailable but maybe they'll have it soon (other drinks on offer and free water). Cash- they don't take it, but they...
Read moreI ordered the Chicken Biryani and was extremely disappointed. It was one of the worst biryanis I’ve ever had. The dish was overwhelmingly spicy—even after adding a lot of yogurt to tone it down. I could barely eat two spoonfuls before throwing the rest away. This didn’t resemble authentic biryani at all. It looked like plain rice mixed with some kind of sauce and excessive chili, with chunks of chicken that seemed more suited for butter chicken or tikka, not biryani. Definitely not...
