We did perhaps have too high expectation but must admit that his is a rather basic hotel. A phone to call the reception is missing in the rooms (and a reception is missing as guests are received in the bar). Bathroom was not super well cleaned and the room had a dusty feeling (the reception staff blamed it on summer replacement staff...). The place feels a bit worn out... The food in the restaurant is also quite basic (in particular the veggies of the buffet). The chocolat dessert was more sugary than chocolaty... Luckily we enjoyed a really nice bottle of red Italian wine! Finally, guests are asked to pay for their stay at the hotel upon their arrival (and not at check out) which feels a bit weird and unprofessional. The place is big, has two open areas and plenty of space inside, and there were lots of visitors. I had to wait at the bar for several minutes, being ignored by all the waiters passing by, until I almost climbed on the bar stand to ask whether they had a free table.
