Sorry that this is the only photos I have. we were rushing off when checking out & I forgot to take proper nice pics of the hotel room! But!! my partner managed to take telebubbles of the gym which tbh we were super impressed by, the gym is the BEST, can't believe it's so wonderfully equipped!
Stayed in Norway for 13 days & Sweden for 4 days, & no offense to Norway but this hotel was the BEST of all our hotels/airbnbs we stayed through out the entire holiday. One thing abt Scandinavian hotels ? They have no kettles or hairdryers in the room?? BUT THIS ONE!!!! I was so HAPPY & pleasantly surprised the room came with NOT ONLY a hairdryer & kettle, BUT WITH DUMBBELL WEIGHTS FOR WEIGHT TRAINING LMAOOO what even!!! Loved it
The hotel staff I have to say, one morning during bfast we saw a ... chinese lady shouting her head off & banging the receptionist table & smacking the sofas at the 1st floor round, screaming about how she lost money & how she thought the hotel was dishonest, but to be fair we didn't know what was going on & we were just watching the drama while consuming our bfast (which was lovely btw we enjoyed our bfast so much!) I have to comment that the staff were incredibly professional & didn't lose their patience even tho the chinese lady was quite .... dramatic & rude & the way she waved her hands around & smacked things around banging around as many items she could get her hands on, shouting at the staff, I even heard the reception counter guy patiently telling her the police would take about 10min to arrive & she was like "I DONT HAVE 10 MIN TO WAIT! I HAVE TO GO!!!!" 👀 but she spent the last 20 min here making a big fuss ? idk, but. kudos to the staff & whoever else were there at the receptionist table handling her 😂 good job for not losing YOUR cool
This was a fantastic stay. It is SO worth the money for the price we paid per night! I wish we had a longer holiday in Sweden so that we could use more of the gym & eat more of their...
Read moreVery good hotel. Staff were very helpful. There is a large car park, that you have to pay for (550SK for 3 nights). You need to follow a good satnav to find it, as there's building work going on around it.
Reception was good and they were very helpful.
The room was great. We booked a standard room and this came with a kettle (coffee and tea) and a fridge with bottled water. The room was very clean. The bathroom was small but fine. The shower was powerful. Free wifi was sufficently fast enough for what I wanted.
Breakfast was great and there was lots of choice. One thing I did like was that there was a seperate toaster for the gluten free bread, as this showed thought about what people wanted.
In the lobby was a flask of coffee and tea to get a drink when you got back, plus some biscuits. There was also a bowl of water and treats for your dog.
The hotel is 5 minutes from a tram station (Sickla). This gives you access to get across the whole public transport system. We purchased a 3 day pass (although we were only there for 2 days it works out at 2x 1-day pass). You have to download an app on your phone then buy it on there. You have a QR code as your ticket. So easy to get arounf on the tram, bus, metro and commuter trains. It also works on the commuter ferries.
The hotel is also next to a large shopping cetre (a street away) which has a large supermarket and other stores. Good if you need snacks to carry with you.
Definitely would stay here again when in Stockholm, as it easy to access, the hotel is good and has good local transport links. The staff demostrated that they cared and looked...
Read moreThe area is under construction, but it is so easy to get around by public transport. Hotel reception staff were so friendly and helpful , with the catering staff working tirelessly with the breakfast settings.
The room cleaning wasnt a good standard, they just changed the towels and made the bed. The dirty cups and glasses were left and the items not replinished , so each night we had to ask for more. The bins were not emptied or sides wiped at all. But that was the only niggle the cleaning. The bed was Kingsize and wow it was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. My partner struggles sleeping but not once whilst there. We even took a picture of the mattress to see if we could buy it, but at £5000 think it's a no 😆 There was a variety of options of food for breakfast , and included gluten and vegan choices. Always fresh and constantly replaced, the bread and apricot jam was delicious.
Would I stay there again, yes especially for the bed...
