Les Paccots — Hotel in Châtel-Saint-Denis

In short: Your go-to ski resort to teach your family members out to ski from Lausanne or Vevey, for a decent price, provided there is snow.

In more details, this is a small resort with ski-lifts (no chairlifts or gondolas). Mostly blue slopes that will suit beginners perfectly. Slopes are rarely super crowded but the ski-lifts can get busy on a sunny Sunday.

An advanced skier will get through the resort super fast, and ultimately bored. One red slope (La Cierne, if there’s enough snow) and one black slope (Le Pralet) will entertain good skiers that accompany their beginner friends for a little bit.
