Start with the good points, the room was new and clean (mainly as there was almost literally nothing in it). Also the room was very spacious with space for 5 people which is difficult to find and most welcome. Wifi was the fastest of any hotel I think I have ever been in (over 55MB/S, my speedtest app couldn't even go higher).||||However, the room was cold on arrival. It took two hours to get it to a decent temperature despite the hotel knowing our arrival time and it being zero outside. Even then the bathroom remained cold throughout our stay as there is no heating in that room at all. In order to sleep you have to turn the heater off as it makes a fairly hefty noise so in the morning the room was cold again.||Beds were rock hard sprung mattresses like sleeping on a plank of wood, some may like this, monks perhaps, very uncomfortable||Shower is modern but what is the point in a radio that doesn't actually work (it couldn't tune to anything so you just get hissing and one of the speakers didn't work). Also what's the point in spending a fortune on a modern shower with hydrojets then giving out little packets of cheap shower gel?||Room was located next to the car park which is next to a "music pub" who have a fairly generous late music licence. If you are a light sleeper (and otherwise I don't think you would hear it) you should be aware they were going until 530am on a Sunday morning before the dance music stopped...oh and yeah you have parked your car where customers are smoking and taking their drinks...In the morning the car has broken glass, unfinished drinks and fag ends around it... then the train services start passing in the distance behind the hotel but it was otherwise quiet (I'm not sure there were many guests, we only saw 2). ||Breakfast is borderline passable, no more than that, very limited selection (the bread and cheese were nice, otherwise cheap yoghurt, luncheon meat, 2 cereals and factory croissants out of a packet).||On check-in I realised that despite booking for 2 adults and 2 children I was charged visitors tax for the children. There was no one around to correct the error (there are almost literally no staff) and over email they blame the booking engine systems and refused the refund...not very customer friendly...||Overall it was more like a package holiday room in the Mediterranean which for the price and location is a bit cheeky.||Also if despite this review you still want to go, don't book in advance as it was cheaper booking on the day, at the very least check the price before the free cancellation period finishes and redo...

Liked: We got assigned a red room, we asked to change it to any another color and we got the change.
We were on a room facing a busy road, but with the windows closed, I couldn't hear the traffic or the trains.
Didn't like: the two door handles, to the corridor and to the bathroom, were more broken than working; the shower had the fanciest electronic controls I have ever seen, but the handle was broken, the AC at its strongest setting was just a fan and, with 27C outside, we were walking around the room naked and splashing cold water from time to time to not suffocate; when we booked the room left one simple English sentence to not get a red room, but that's exactly what we got; the only receptionist we saw didn't speak any English or Spanish, but the hotel advertises those...

Pros:- Cheap (for Switzerland). Convenient, computer based check in. Easy to find from the main road. Restaurant downstairs so food is easily accessed. Bathrooms are modern and in good condition. Parking is free and plentiful.
Cons:- Person-free check in so when we had issues (we had rented a 4 person room and a separate double room to fit our party. When we checked in they had given us a 5 person room so we didn't require the second room. We were unable to speak to anyone about the unnecessary room).
Noisy. Especially as we were on the end that faced the pub. The blaring music didn't stop until after 2am, the result was a pretty average next day.
Breakfast was ok if you were looking to get some quick calories in and run. Certainly not great quality or...
