Ottimo posto proprio sul lago. Operatore attento. Acquista tutti i giorni prodotti da forno freschi pre-ordine possibile. Carne e salsicce SEMPRE FRESCHE. Can't fault the welcome, receptionist a mine of information and supplied with free bus/metro/train travel passes for Lausanne. Took great care to help and explain all we asked about. The site is tired, pitches badly worn and around 60m'sq all with power and some with water (extra). Long walk otherwise to fetch water and a very long walk to empty waste. Motor home "aire" cheaper but squalid. Whole site has to empty loos at Relais point that stinks!! Toilet facilities old, worn but functional, with little evidence of cleaning. Hose on wall suggests that this is classed as cleaning. On site restaurant looks ok but we didn't use it. Supposed to be a shop but we never saw it open! Wifi chargeable but actually does work! Brilliant location right on the banks of the Lake Geneva, endless walks along the "prom" passing endless sports facilities both marine and athletic well used by locals and tourists alike. Free bus service stop about 1/2 mile, from there endless free travel all round the city. We got on the bus and did its complete round trip, 2nd day caught it to the harbour from where the lake cruises leave and used the metro up into the city which is very steep up and down but quite flat across when you are up. Stayed at this place for one night. And I will share my experience of this night. First of all the woman in the reception when I arrived was very nice and very good in English, but the price she gave me, was not the price I had to pay when I checked out. ||Some of the people in the restaurant was very rude, one them even told me to “learn French” since she couldn’t understand when I tried to explain that I would be gone for 5 minutes when I was waiting for the food. |The food they served was ok+. ||The showers and bathroom need a fix up, but they was okey, but what was not okey was that they didn’t have soap on the toilets, not even dispensers for soap, so if you care about clean hands, you should bring soap. ||For the WiFi you need to pay per hour. ||You get free bus tickets, and it’s easy to get from the camping in to the city. And is close to the beach. ||All in all i will not recommend this place, because I don’t think it’s a good value...
