Roggenstock Lodge — Hotel in Oberiberg

So far, I can only say I have waited more than an hour for the main course. The excuse is that the whole place is full and we have a soup as starter (only 2 people out of 6 and 1 kid), well, if you don't have the capacity to deliver properly, don't be greedy and reduce your tables. It's unfair if your main reason to come to the town is skiing, not eating a burger in the local restaurant. Food looks fair for the price. By the way, the waitress took the time to educate us by telling that next time we should tell that we want all the food together... Exactly what we were looking for... The issue was precisely the same waitress never asking in 1 hour if everything was "ok"...

Answering to their reply: They claim as reasonable that it took 34 min after the appetizers consumption until payment, it's obvious since we where in the hurry of finishing for skiing (ski lifts are not 24/7)... we arrived around 12:15 hrs, we left around 13:55 hrs (around 1:40 hrs total for burgers and two soups)... Claiming quality is not a reason to cover a chain of time-consuming clumsy negligences... In conclusion, any of you reading this (specially if you are foreigner), go to the restaurant near the long ski-lift, it's way more reliable, rapid, and the staff is amicable. ...

Room was obviously ready already when I arrived before noon, but it was not given to me, receptionist purely said that rooms are given at 15.00 only. However when I went after lunch to take something from my luggage the room was given for me. ||||I asked snow shoe hiking route, but the advise given for me was just general zou can go anywhere. That broad answer astonished me with "all the options", but not gave me that route that was leaving next to the hotel which I found accidentally out too late. Unfortunately the young man at the reception was not top of the customer service and he is obviously left to run his work without advises.||||After early and very delicious dinner I wanted to go quickly to wellness and asked personnel if it is still ok since I was earlier informed it was open til 19.30. I went in the wellness premised, but all the lights were off and no change to find how to switch them on. I did not wanted to bother anyone anymore since my room was on the other building that the restaurant where all the personnel available was working at that time. It was just a waste of few towels and gave definitely me the feeling...

The restaurant has great food for a fair price except that we had to pay 7 CHF for tap-water even though we ordered other drinks too

We had one of the renovated rooms and it was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. We kept the bedroom window open else the room would get too hot. Even though the window was open it was quiet.

The staff is very friendly the owner is very involved in the business. I enjoyed talking with them about the hotel and their future plans. They are currently renovating about 8 rooms a year.

The spa just under the roof of the building is very modern and clean. The spa consist of two saunas and one steam room. Between your sauna sessions you can make yourself a tea and relaxe outside on the balcony or inside. From inside the saunas you have a nice view of the mountains and it was a perfect way to...
