We traveled here as a group of 7 with 3 children in 3rd week of December for 2 nights. The Four Sisters Villa was exactly what the pictures looked like, with artsy rooms, tasteful decor, in a quiet private setting and small rustic grounds. Our stay was in rooms 1202 and 1203 and the overall stay was amazing. I will mostly be talking about room 1203 but I'm sure most applies to both rooms. The rooms we felt were roomy, with ample size bathrub and shower room, dual sinks and separate toilet room. The room comes with a large balcony tho the decorative arches impede the views of the ocean somewhat. In the rooms has a good size safe, with water bottles, drinks in the mini fridge, and snacks all free which get replenished on daily basis. The rooms also come with a laundry rack to air dry your clothes and very clean throughout. Guests are also entitled to an ice cream per guest per day in the lobby which my kids loved. Then there's the breakfast - served at 8am but the spread is beautiful and the options are endless. The options range from traditional Taiwanese to their own European renditions, in a very chic and French/European setting. The staff here was also attentive, keeping the serving areas spotless, always filled, and whisking away any of your dirty plates.||Location: The location is about 3 min drive south of Kenting town and as other reviews have said the Villa does offer shuttles to the night market. There are no other food options around tho some in our party did do room service one of the nights and while the beef noodle soup was delicious, it was US prices (which means way overpriced). The Villa is also not on the beach but can see the ocean from our balcony and just across the street and couple minutes walk to Sail Rock Beach, which is an amazing beach in itself. ||Minor: The only issue we encountered was at check-in. Unfortunately after the long drive from Kaohsiung, our kids were scrambling to get in the rooms to use the toilet and in the kerfuffle, we were never handed the room keys. When we went to get it, one of the ladies at the front desk insisted she saw us take the key and cautioned us that we will be charged for replacement key if we can't find it. We proceeded to waste about 10 minutes looking everywhere for it until one of the bellhops eventually handed it to us with apologies, but the lady at the front desk never mentioned it. The accusatory tone we felt was unprofessional and showed some of the rough edges of this hotel but we loved everything else about the hotel that we didn't let this ruin our stay...
Read moreJust south of the run of the mill, bus tour, hotels in Kenting is this amazing one of a kind oasis. 4 separate mini-hotels, each room with a unique theme. Ours had a view of the ocean, king bed facing the sliding door window. Bedding and amenities were top quality. Felt more like my home than a hotel. Our room also had a balcony to sit out on and watch the stars. ||Woke up in the morning to the sounds of nature and a sprawling tropical garden. Two of the cutest baby goats run around entertaining everyone. The four separate Villas nicely space everything out for a country garden feel. ||Breakfast was the best quality I have ever had! It was a combination of local and international cuisine and all had the personal flavoring of the amazing chef, who I am told is 3rd sister, Kathy. Different foods each day made it more interesting. The dining room is a lovely meeting place to eat or drink. Each Villa has its own lobby to rest in or plan tomorrow’s activities. ||This is the place to retreat to after a busy day of touring or swimming or if you want to work from outside the office. Fast internet in my room allowed me to work while vacationing. ||2nd Sister, Irene, was there every morning to greet us with a smile and make sure our stay was the best. Staff was all smiles as they efficiently gave us a personalized experience throughout our stay. The positive ambiance is noticeable. Fellow travelers greet each other as if we know each other. As an American this Warmed my heart. ||The caliber of this experience was way above my expectations. ||I highly recommend this place for adults and families who want to play outside during the day but retreat to a quiet upscale experience for evening...
Read moreCommunicated with them through Expedia prior to arrival and the host offered a free shuttle from Xiaowan bus station for our convenience. I decided to just take a taxi, but the service was very kind. They have a WhatsApp to communicate through efficiently.
They have a free shuttle leaving every half hour to and from the Kenting night market for your enjoyment, you just need to let reception know when you want to go.
Ice cream coupon complimentary from ice cream cart in the lobby 3pm-9pm was delicious. They have about 5 different flavors. My first time trying Green Mango flavour, if you enjoy fruit flavor sorbet you will love it!
We really wanted to enjoy a relaxing time just in the room, we were both very surprised at the presentation and quality of food that was served both at the breakfast as well as room service. Braised beef noodle soup and pork chop scallion noodle were both delicious. Entrees were about $380, and I got a fruit shake (pineapple was the primary taste) for about 100 something. After service fee, our room service dinner came out to just over 1k NT. The food was delicious here!
Maybe 5 minutes walk away is a small beach, the water is very rocky so more for a beach side walk and dip your toes though we saw some people jet skiing.
After check out they dropped us off using car service at the Xiaowan bus station where we caught the tourist shuttle back to Taichung HSR. Very convenient...
