Kenting Space Capsule — Hotel in Hengchun

Due to the digging up of ground in front of Kenting MY HOME, all guests got moved to Kenting Space Capsule. However, I was only emailed on the afternoon of my arrival & did not see the message as I was in transit. It took 20+ minutes outside the front to finally get through to someone on mobile & to be taken to the Kenting Space Capsule (same owners) on the main road towards one end. ||||The “space capsules” there were ok for sleeping in (I believe the wi-fi usually worked) BUT I suggest getting one on the ground if you are older or are going to be really sore from alot of walking/carrying luggage as it can be hard to get into the upper ones w/ sore muscles. There is enough space inside (if traveling w/ a small amount of luggage, you can put it inside) w/ strong enough A/C / air circulation – in winter time (not sure about summer though). If the place is full, I am also not sure if there would be enough toilets (they are toilet+shower in the same room – so you can’t use a toilet if someone is showering + they were reasonably clean – unless someone walked in w/ dirty shoes on a wet floor) as some would periodically be locked on a rotating basis. There was free coffee/tea/soda machine/snacks in the lobby + you are at one end of the main street where the night market stretches. ||||Note: The housekeepers here are Filipino. So you can speak English/Tagalog with them if the person at the front desk is not...

Highly recommended!!! ||Location: Take bus to get down from Kenting Main street, heading downhill direction and you will see it on your left, pretty easy to find. ||Exterior and interior: Three letters... OMG! It was totally out of our expectation! We never expect it could be this awesome! It's hard to describe, just Google search image and you will see the real thing. ||Security: Guarded with electronic lock. ||Staff: The girl that served us, she's cute and very friendly! Love the way she showed us how to access and have fun in Kenting. ||Bedroom: Holy mama... We reserved bunk bed for two and we were assigned to a room where we slept under a starry sky! Although it was just a luminous kinda thing, but it was way too pretty! Can't atop staring at it when we switch off the light. ||Bathroom: Even though it was a shared bathroom but it was spacious enough for you to dance inside (I'm just kidding, don't do that, k!). All toiletries were provided as you need. ||Overall: It's a MUST stay hostel if to happen to visit Kenting, Taiwan! Oh yeah, all the foods and drinks that provided inside the room and lobby......

If I could give it a zero I would.

Worst night sleep ever, literally sleeping in your car should be an option before wasting your money here.

Room is ok at first, I've spelt in tents and super small campers, this wasn't any different, what is different is the lack of air movement in the room making sleeping with a partner makes the room a spa like 28.5 degrees, with all three fans on you'll feel right at home next to a 747 jet engine.......bring earplugs.

Let's not go into the sub standard wiring that's a literal fire hazard waiting to happen and the fact that the 20 rooms in this hallway only have one fire escape (the rooms don't have a second exit) and everything is wood......

The hallway smells of mold and mildew, quick check of the washrooms and yup, found it, I think this you'll feel more dirty after your shower than you were before.
