Goya Spring Resort — Hotel in Taichung

Stayed with family for one night. It is around 3_3.5 hours drive from Kaohsiung. The resort is new and some parts are not finished yet, but it want bother having a pleasant stay, arrived around 4 after traveling around, and reception was warm and quick, we had one Villa and one Double room in main building. Rooms were very spacious and modern in design, ample amenities and private Hot spring water Spa in every room. Villa had indoor spa and outdoor two pools with hot and cold water..kids outdoor pool with slides were out of order, but outdoor spa was fantastic one for both kids and adults. Dinner was very tasty, buffet we had is cheap, nice, and served few made to order dishes as well. Service at buffet was a little slow than I expected, but ok....! Overall....a good resort for families...

Spent a couple of nights with my husband and three children (15, 13, 3). Breakfast, dinner, access to the hotsprings included. Comfy beds, quiet rooms, good breakfast buffet, nice dinner. The hotsprings in winter are really a wonderful experience. Surrounding mountains are beautiful, quiet, fresh air (nice change form the city), lots of tangerine orchards, and some lovely Taiwanese cherry trees that were in full bloom.We booked our room at a travel show in Taichung so got a discount - under 9000NT per night instead of 13000. Still a...
