Hwu MEEI Motel — Hotel in Tainan

I think this is the strangest hotel I have ever been but I mean it in the best possible way. It is quite obvious that Hwu Meei has been some kind of love hotel as the stress on privacy and room decor tell a clear story. For example you can drive your car into the private garage that is under your room so you can get in and out of your room without anybody actually seeing you. :)||But we were a family of three, including a 2-year daughter touring beautiful Taiwan and all of us loved this place. We knew about the "special" situation of the hotel when we booked so we were not taken by surprise. The room was enormous and the bathroom had a large jacuzzi in it (with TV and sound system present in bathroom). Bedroom had different light settings that you could change with a remote (yeah!), extra wide comfortable bed, small bed for our daughter, kitchen area and a massage chair. Yes, that's correct - a massage chair. Everything was squeaky clean and it was dead quiet at nights.||We stayed there for three nights and we literally had nothing to complain about. Check-in and check-out were very smooth, breakfast plentiful and tasty and the location of the hotel suited best for our needs.||The main reason why we stayed in this part of Tainan was its closeness to wetlands. I have a wildlife photography hobby and the Sicao wetlands were some 20 minutes drive away so during early mornings I could be really fast "on site" with my camera. And it paid off really well as the bird life was abundant in Sicao. Hwu Meei is also just a short walk away from Wusheng Night market.||So all in all this is a very recommendable place if you can look past the "love hotel" atmosphere. We absolutely loved the hotel and if we ever go back to Tainan, we would definitely like to stay...

Location is great and amenities are nice. Great parking spot, jacuzzi, massage chair, and reasonable breakfast. Staff was absolutely lovely. However, the room reeks of cigarettes so I won't stay...

來一場說走就走的旅行||我們拖著行李來到高雄火車站||看到北上列車先來,我們就去台南||如果是南下列車先來~我們就決定去墾丁||結果來了一台北上的區間車||我們二話不說就上車了||在火車上才開始訂房||最後決定住湖美汽車旅館||湖美給人的感覺蠻高級||車道上也有貼心的遮雨棚||雖然沒有小電梯不過入口頗有質感||木質地板加上木製拉門||給人溫馨像的感覺。||房間打掃得很乾淨也沒有煙味||超大的浴室是我的最愛,它有拉門可以和房間隔離。||休息一下||我們就出門去逛夜市了||租一台摩多車四處趴趴走真的方便||逛個夜市買個晚餐,||逛完夜市後就回飯店睡覺了||床真的很好睡||就這樣一覺到天亮||早上起床後隨即前往餐廳用餐||自助式早餐、種類不多||但是我們還要留點胃去外面吃||所以早餐還可以接受啦||湖美汽車旅館走得是溫馨路線。||我住過不少旅館、飯店||雖然旅館不算是一間很有主題的飯店||還是不錯的||有機會到...
