N-square Hostel 任意。宿 — Hotel in Yuanli

One of the best in all of Taiwan, especially for foreigners like myself!

Disliked: That I realized one day I still had to leave!! I kept postponing though..

Liked: Everything

The host: This host understands exactly what a backpacker needs, but l am sure he will understand any type of traveller. He has a very social, kind and warm personality. Helpful where you need it, but as a true free spirit knowing when you don't. Full of life this guy. If not the best, certainly one of the best hosts ever in all my travels in Taiwan (over 15 months in total). His English is pretty well, though he stays (too) modest bout it

The room: Simple, but clean. Maybe a bit small for the number of beds. Airco and fan. Bed tall enough for approximately 2.00m length. Hard bedbottom (which I prefer). Good WiFi.

The showers and toilet: Clean with basic toiletries (bathing gel and shampoo) and enough space to hang/put your clothes, towels and personal toiletries

Livingroom: Cozy and spacious

Extra's: Coffee grinder, some cold drinks, tumble dryer

Location: Plenty of foods and shops nearby, near the trainstation

Town: Lovely little town, not too quiet, not too crowded, super friendly people everywhere.

This is an example for Taiwanese tourism in general and the hostel should be the blueprint for attracting foreign tourists

On top of all these positives, this man doesn't follow hip exaggerated money-grabbing trends in Taiwan. For what you get, the price is outstanding!

我徒步的第10天，已很久沒跟第一次見面的人講那麼多話了，當天提早抵達，但我忘記自己跟老闆說我幾點到了。 3點就準時報到，跟老闆提到左腳走到到足底筋膜炎，正在考慮要去買拖鞋換掉原本的涼鞋，結果老闆熱心跟我聊了很多徒步的話題,說我可以去買“母子鱷魚‘’拖鞋，苑裡有喔，對！我後來就真的去買了，買了就回來。 然後就開始瘋狂的跟老闆聊天，從徒步環島＞＞老闆澳洲旅程＞＞人生體驗＞＞我打工換宿，幾乎什麼都聊了，從天亮聊到天黑，老闆既是有趣又有故事的人，當他說到他那些體驗的日子時，眼裡散發著光芒，是好好活過的樣子。 老闆就像許久未見的朋友般，任意宿最大的招牌=老闆，他是一個像寶藏一樣的存在，希望老闆能繼續用他的故事鼓舞他人，讓其他人也變得跟他一樣勇敢，而我也要學習老闆的勇敢，勇敢的誇出去舒適圈，如果有機會遇到他一定要巴著他不放🤣🤣聽他講他的人生故事 真的有夠好玩的！！！ 聽到誠實商店背後的故事，對我來說是感動，老闆是一個善良的人。
