I can’t say enough good things about Acacia Farm Lodge, its staff, and our experience staying there. It was so wonderful we stayed here three times within one year!

The effort and care they take to provide a comfortable, easy stay sets an example not just for the area, but for all of Tanzania. From the personal butler service, to the expertise and quality of their safari guides, Acacia goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has an exceptional experience.

They accommodated every single request of ours and then some. On one visit with my elderly parents, Frank brought a beautiful breakfast spread and chai (made to my parents’ exact specifications) directly to the room even after the breakfast service had ended so they could get some extra rest.

The food is phenomenal - most of it is grown on the lodge itself. You can even take a tour of the fields and poultry areas. The coffee, also grown at the lodge, is some of the best you’ll taste in Tanzania.

Their safari guides and services were first class. Our guides had an amazing knowledge of the animals, birds, and plants we encountered. They handled everything for park entrance, and took excellent care of my parents when they needed helping getting in/out of the car.

The location can’t be beat. Just 30 minutes from Ngorogoro, and closer even to Tarangire. The location of the lodge itself is amazing. I savored every morning on the dining room balcony, watching and listening to all the birds, enjoying the lush greenery, and relaxing by the bonfires in the evening.

The rooms are superb. Comfortable beds, air conditioned rooms, clean and well stocked bathrooms (great water pressure, plenty of hot water). WiFi, kettle and world class coffee are provided in the room, so after a day of a wonderful safari, I was able to catch up on some work and personal correspondence.

I can’t recommend Acacia Farm Lodge enough. Beautiful location, top notch staff, and first class accommodations and service. We loved it so much we went straight to their sister lodge in the Serengeti and had a similarly amazing time. I hope to return...

We absolutely loved our stay at Acacia Farm Lodge—it was the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and warm hospitality, making it an ideal stop before visiting the Ngorongoro Crater.||From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional service. We were assigned a private butler, Frank, and a housekeeper, Cecelia, and I truly can’t say enough about them. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, from helping with the kids to ensuring we had everything we needed at all times. Their warmth and attentiveness made the experience feel truly personal and memorable.||The accommodations are spacious, modern, and luxurious, yet still incredibly family-friendly. We had all the space we needed to relax and recharge after a long travel day. The grounds are beautiful, with stunning views and plenty of space for the kids to stretch their legs.||The food was fantastic—a large, well-stocked buffet with options for every palate (even for picky little eaters!), plus attentive chefs who made sure any dietary preferences were accommodated.||Whether you’re a couple, a solo traveler, or a family like ours, I can’t recommend Acacia Farm Lodge enough. It’s a perfect base for exploring the crater region, and a peaceful retreat you’ll be...

Acacia Farm Lodge is truly exceptional, offering an unparalleled 5-star experience. Nestled in the heart of a working farm, the farm-to-table concept is not just a tagline; it’s a way of life here, and you can see and taste it in every detail.

The hospitality is remarkable, with the staff making you feel genuinely welcomed from the moment you arrive to the heartfelt send-off. They guide you seamlessly to your rooms and ensure every need is met with warmth and professionalism.

A special mention goes to the chef, whose culinary expertise is second to none. He goes above and beyond to accommodate all preferences and delights guests with dishes inspired by their regions of origin. His ability to tailor meals while showcasing local flavors is simply outstanding.

Although our stay was shorter than planned, we could tell the Lodge offers much more to enjoy, including a serene swimming pool, an insightful farm tour, and a rejuvenating spa. The coffee bar, drink bar, and cozy bonfire setup are perfect touches that enhance the overall experience.

We look forward to returning and spending more time indulging in all the amenities this exceptional property has to offer. Highly recommended! Don’t forget to tip the staff for their...

Truly beautiful resort and unbelievable experience here. I was welcomed by singing, refreshments, hot towel and hand wash as soon as I exited my car. Check in was quick and the porters already brought my bags to my room. The room is actually a detached cottage, with a living room, large bedroom with king bed, walk in closet and ensuite bathroom with a walk in, waterfall shower. The porch had a beautiful view of the gardens. There is a wonderful plantation and greenhouse on the property that I was given a tour of where Pascal explained their process and passion for bringing farm to table. I got to see how they process their own coffee beans as well. The pool was clean and beautiful and the gym was excellent. I loved the bonfire they had every night and the dinning and cocktails were delicious- you can eat everything here including the salads. My one and only suggestion and frustration is that there were any outlets in the bathroom so blow drying and styling my hair had to be done on the floor in the walk-in closet. But this was one of the few hotels in Tanzania that at least had an outlet next to the bed. Loved my experience here, thank you ❤️

We stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon trip to Tanzania between safaris. It was an amazing stay and we would highly recommend adding a stay here on your trip. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly, singing staff. Hot towels and fresh juice as soon as we got out of the vehicle as they took our bags for us. The atmosphere and scenery are beautiful. We had a personal butler during our stay, Martin, who was fantastic. He made sure we had everything we needed and was always available to help us with anything. Our room was very nice and the main lobby/dining room were as well. Dinner was buffet style and the food was fresh and delicious. They packed our lunches for safari for us each day. One night, Martin arranged a private table for us on the balcony for dinner to celebrate our honeymoon. It was very special. We can't say enough good things about Acacia and the staff. There was a pool, small fitness center, bar, and yard area with a bonfire every evening. Thank you for making our honeymoon trip even more special! - Sebastian and Clara

We can't recommend this hotel enough! Such a wonderfully put together place! The service is excellent and we were made to feel amazingly comfortable straight away by Frank and Michael who looked after us throughout our stay. Frank was very attentive and made sure he met our every need. He even set up a surprise private romantic dinner for our honeymoon, complete with a bonfire and personal visit from head chef. It was a wonderful experience. The farm lodge is surrounded by a plot on which they grow the own produce and use in the restaurant for visitors. Make sure to do a free tour with Florian of the grounds to see coffee plantations and all sorts of produce including mangoes, oranges, lemons, avocados, beetroot etc etc. They even habe their own bee hives for honey! All very sustainable and ethically sourced! Don't hesitate to book here. You won't regret it.
