One of our best experiences in Tanzania. Mustafa, the assistant manager was the best, almost like our personal local tour operator. We arrived there at 5 pm on our first day and he still managed to organise a trip for us for the next day to Tarangire National Park. Just astonishing. We stayed in one of the small tents, which offers relatively small prices for a luxury lodge, external bathroom though. The lodge itself is a dream. There are monkeys, zebras inside the camp and you can see Lake Manyara, wildebeests from the pool. Service is outstandingly friendly and helpful, most of them speak English very well. Camp is secured with a lot of officers and rangers alike. Breakfast and dinner are good buffets. We came back after we finished our safaris for one relaxing day before we moved on. Be aware that this camp is inside the Manyara National Park, so you have to pay the camping fees per person per night.

Well-maintained resort with different glamping offers, large garden with trees (and monkeys..), generous seating in bar, pool (w/o shadow) and spacious restaurant with open views to the shore of lake Manyara. The larger tents provide ample space, toilet and shower, and to me appeared very comfortable. There is also an observation tower from where you can see zebras, wilde beasts, various birds and, if you are lucky, hipos (we saw them only in the lake). Attentative service by all staff members. Good, home-style cuisine. While every part of tents, and other infrastructure is kept clean, I had to deduct one star for the big cockroach relaxing on my wife's pillow one night. For her the absolute vacation killer...

Africa Safari tented Safari Camp is a very nice place to stay for one (or a few nights) during a safari. Parks like Tarangire and Ngorongoro can be visited within a 1,5-2 hour drive. Lake Manyara National Park is obviously right next door. The tents are luxurious and very well maintained, we stayed in a tent with private bathroom facilities which were very clean. The shower had good water pressure and nice warm water. The park has a nice buffet dinner and a la carte options for breakfast (included). A swimming pool is available, which is visited by the zebra's that live in the park area to have a drink. Very kind and helpful staff. We enjoyed our two nights here and would recommend it !

Everything I read about this lodge was true. Before even booking my safari I knew I wanted to stay here and I was not disappointed. To the contrary. I was amazed at the quality of the service and the facilities. A perfect jewel. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The place is clean and comfortable. Even if wifi is available only at reception. We didn't have hot water. But cool running water in a 100% functional bathroom was most welcomed after a day in a safari. Part of the camp was flooded so we didn't see many animals passing through except for the mischievous monkeys. |You remember where you are and this exceptional opportunity to reconnect with what's most important: the people and the environment around you. I highly recommend. You can go, eyes closed. |The picnic boxes are top quality. They think of everything for you before you even have a chance to realize what you need! |Thank you so much for a...

The hotel is in the edge of lake Manyara and due to weather changes, the lake has expanded and flooded some areas of the hotel. This rendered some areas unusable (see below) and there have been adaptations to this. The tents are nice and well equipped, the restaurant is good and the food is very nice. Staff are nice and helpful.||The drop in stars is due to the toilets and showers provision for tents that were not en-suite. For men there were 2 toilets and 1 shower and for women there was 1 toilet and 1 shower!! These were the only facilities for many many tents. We went to rather basic campsites in the serengeti that had triple that capacity. One day, a chinese guy took a 30 minute shower, and there was a huge queue waiting. Also, because the water is solar heated, everyone else (men and women) had to shower with...
