Stayed as part of a safari. The campsite and it's facilities were fine and exactly as expected. However, we let our guard down for half an hour with our bags while we were packing up our tent (Our bags were still near us) and 300,000 TSH (140 USD) was stolen from one of our bags.||||Guides called the camp after we realised (We had just left and were on the road to Ngorongoro) and staff assured that when we returned as we drove back to Arusha the money would be given back. When we returned with our safari guides 3 days later the staff became aggressive and it seemed that if we stayed any longer there would have been violence, so the guides and our safari group left. The camp management was contacted when back in Arusha and also would not do anything to resolve the theft. Would avoid this place...

We spent a night in he tent at Jumbo's campsite.||||When I saw he camp site, I was a little bit surprised because this camp site is locate at the town area. However once entered, welcomed by nice green lawns and cute animal sculptures in the big garden. Also they have nice swimming pool. ||||They separate dining area for hotel guests and campers. As a camper, I need to use public facilities. Dinning area was quite ok however common bathroom was not so clean and I could not get hot shower. But cold water shower is ok since weather was hot when i stayed. ||||This place was not so bad to start first night for budget camping Safari. I did not expect a lot but as a Africa, this camp site was ok and...

I was based here with friends for several weeks as a result of doing some volunteer work. This is unusual as most guests stay a night or two when on safari. My room was clean and well equipped (although I never tried the TV) and the shower worked well. Although right next to the pool I was never disturbed by noise. The grounds are quite beautiful and serene and the pool kept clean. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were varied and fresh. Hosts Johnny and Christina were delightful people who went out of their way to be helpful, and happily dealt with all sorts of requests from guests. I would not hesitate to stay here again and am looking forward...

Hello everyone, I stayed here at Jambo for two nights. I brought my own tent for camping. (10 dollars per person per night) I really like the atmosphere. The staff is really friendly. Especially Herry! I felt really safe to be and sleep here. There are hot showers, and we enjoyed the breakfast (5000tzs per person). Relaxed by the pool. A recommendation to stay. The only improvement point is the little waste burning one day at the back of the area, but that's what they do everywhere around this area. Ciao Pepijn

I enjoyed my 2 night stay there. They have lodges and camping options, I was lucky enough to stay in a lodge. I say this because there are a LOT of mosquitoes around, and some of the windows had small holes in them which unfortunately allowed some mosquitoes to get in. Shower wasn't warm and there was no toilet paper when I arrived. They have a pool, which is very dirty though. Wifi barely works, but can be used to send a few simple texts

The rooms are spacious and clean. The property in general has aged but it is a good budget option in the area for the Northern circuit safaris. The food and staff were on point. There is an artshop upfront and also a pool which wasn't in use during my stay. This facility also offers tents
