Jamvini House & Adventures — Hotel in Arusha

I had such a great night here. I was very late when I arrived at night, around 23:00 and I made the reservation when I arrived. The host made me bed and welcomed me. I like the room so much especially the carpet called Jamvi from the Coast culture in Tanzania. He also made super good breakfast for me! The neighborhood is quiet and nice. I LOVE the shower, the best one I had in Tanzania it’s warm and steamy like a spa, but I can also adjust the temperature! highly recommend!

I appreciate it so much that Mezza the host knows very good English cuz my Swahili is just basic. I asked many questions and he helped especially about the delivery here in Tanzania: through bus 🚌

He also does volunteer activities and organization works about nature...

Mezza was a great host! We enjoyed chatting with him about the local culture and have learned a lot though this experience. We really enjoyed the tours we booked through him (visit to Mataruni village coffee experience and waterfall, and a safari in Ngorongoro crater, where we saw all kinds of wild animals up close!). He also went the extra mile in all regards: He picked us up personally from our shuttle bus stop (coming from Nairobi) and helped us arrive at Arusha Airport for our departure. In addition, he organized dinner for us when we didn't manage to go to the supermarket due to the excursions. We also got an excellent breakfast each morning, no matter the time of day that we needed to leave (for example, 5:30am) for...

Mezza es el amigo en Tanzania que no sabías que tenías. Desde el principio se volcó con nosotros, asegurándose de que todo estuviera bien organizado y sin complicaciones. Fue un guía excepcional en las excursiones que organizamos con él, y fue un descanso poder delegar en él la organización y solo preocuparnos en disfutar.

Pero lo que realmente le hace especial es cómo se preocupa por los detalles. Nos vino a recoger personalmente al llegar de Nairobi y nos llevó hasta el aeropuerto de Arusha al final del viaje. También estuvo pendiente de que tuviéramos la cena solucionada cuando no pudimos ir a comprar después de las excursiones, y cada mañana, sin importar la hora, nos preparaba un desayuno delicioso para empezar el día con energía.

Nos gustó también charlar con él por las tardes sobre la vida en Tanzania y sus diferentes proyectos, es de esas personas que no para! Mezza es un anfitrión de los que dejan huella. Gracias a él, nuestra estancia en Tanzania fue cómoda, divertida y llena de momentos inolvidables.

La única cosa a tener en cuenta es que no está en el centro de Arusha, sino en las afueras, por lo que puede ser complicado para por ejemplo encontrar un taxi espontáneamente. Pero gracias a Mezza, para nosotros no fue un problema, porque se encargó de todos los traslados. Y, por otra parte, eso hace que sea un sitio muy tranquilo. Sin duda, repetiríamos.
