When we arrived at Kilimanjaro airport Lewis was there waiting for us to take us to the hostel, he was very welcoming and friendly and had the answer to every question we had, he was nice enough to teach us some of the local language which helped us through our trip in Tanzania. upon arriving to the hostel we had a very spacious room with clean and tidy double beds with mosquito nets and a nice bathroom that had lovely warm showers. Whilst we stayed we were looked after with a great chef, bar staff and booking things like a safari tour and our trip up Kilimanjaro, would recommend staying at Meru hostel just a short drive from the center of town with such caring and helpful staff. Great three day stay at Meru Hostel. Located off the beaten path away from the noisy main road, this place is perfect to relax and recharge. With a short walk, it is conveniently located to transport to explore Arusha town and other destinations.
