I have camped all over East Africa and Nairobi but this has to be the most unprofessional and disrespectful staff. Beautiful location but very rude staff. The lady who received us couldn't be bothered to properly greet my wife. The other wait staff served us while on the phone to a friend , and totally disregarded our needs which I found to be quite unprofessional (I think she’s also the manager). On arrival they tell you payment is only by cash. When me and my wife left to withdraw the next day, the manager, Edna I think is her name, proceeded to be very rude to us and insist one of us must remain or she goes with us to withdraw, despite us leaving our tent all our belongings and even offering phones and passports as security. I did not want to leave my wife alone in a foreign country without a phone. We agreed that the manager accompany us, only for her to refuse, then instruct the guard to not let us out. The guard was gracious enough to see our frustration and directed us to the nearest ATM after which we paid and decided to not stay another night. Honestly a lot could be done with having cashless payment or communicating that you only accept cash on the website. Also, having professional, kind and hospitable staff would have really elevated the experience. As I leave the campsite right now I feel extremely disgruntled and will not be speaking highly of it to my...
Read moreThis place is a legitimate gem. I could go on endlessly about how impressed we were with our stay, but to avoid writing an entire novel, I will stick to the things that stood out to us the most:
the staff team is probably one of the best in Tanzania, service is quick, they are precise, mindful, and attentive, also very friendly and very clearly love interacting with the guests in a way that makes you feel very welcomed
-the views from the campsite and the infinity pool are out of this world, staring out into the escarpment where the Great Rift Valley meets the Savanna Plains from the vantage point at Migombani feels like a total dream
facilities are pristine. the hot-water showers are solar powered and work better than any regular electricity-heated hot-water shower I've ever had before in Tanzania. bathrooms and shower areas are kept meticulously clean at all times
the entire property is covered in a soft green grass, it feels so nice to walk barefoot around the property. I'd imagine its perfect for pitching a tent as well. We slept in one of the furnished safari tents, and the beds were super comfortable.
perfect for a quiet, peaceful getaway close to nature. we slept so well and felt so relaxed and refreshed after our stay here!
wifi works very well
I give this place a 10/10 rating.
Thanks...

Despite the beautiful location, we complain several lack of service.
The first day we arrived the staff showed us an information form where is clearly written that the Management doesn't take responsibility about lost or stolen items from the tent.
Casually we didn't find anymore my brand new Masai Belt and one YSL all hours Foundation for my wife which it was clearly taken from our tent when we left for a day out and the staff accessed the Tent for Cleaning and Changing Towels.
All the staff and especially the security continuously sat and stare at you through out the day, very annoying (apparently looking forward for you to leave so they can access the tent).
Overall we had a negative experience, the only currency in the menu and for the accommodation is US Dollar and is not allowed to pay with card or Mpesa (cash only tax free)
