Overall I would not revisiting this hotel. While yea it’s a budget hotel. It didn’t met my basic expectations. I arrived on Thursday and staff was friendly, I stated that I wanted to have a bite and then swim. After my meal I changed to swim and the pool was gross 🤮 , filled with bugs/ insects. One of the workers saw my face and grabbed the net, after a few minutes he was done. I got out of the pool and contacted Agoda where I made my reservation. Sent pictures of a filthy pool and asked for other accommodations The response was swift that they would turn on the filter and clean the pool by 7 pm. Arusha is pretty chilly at night and I didn’t want to swim. It seemed I was probably the only guest there so I am not sure why the pool can’t be cleaned regularly it wasn’t busy at all. . . Which is probably a hint to me . Friday morning I was offered breakfast and as thoughtful of staff to call my room, when I arrived at the food table there were just a swam of gnats around nearly rotten bananas. I was definitely not eating there. I was only in town 3 nights so I stayed put. Saturday I went out most of the day and came back to rest. It was non stop noise. I heard people talking outside my windows, sweeping up at 7 am. People talking outside my door, doors slamming , furniture moving. And the WiFi does not reach your actual room. My tv didn’t work to watch movies , my phone had no signal. It worked at the front of the hotel. Long story short yes you can save money , my room was cleaned well, security it there and staff are friendly. I would add the transport that hotel sets up is a bit pricey, which is typical of hotels because they assume foreigners will pay more. This place needs management someone to actually check to ensure maintenance and cleaning are up to par. If you just want a place to pass through ok maybe this or a hostel would work . . But I have been in Tanzania for months and you can air bnb an apartment for $50 a night . . Less than here so, unfortunately it’s...

Can’t really comment on location as we only stayed for safari but if we had more time in Tanzania we would’ve enjoyed...
