Nashera Hotel — Hotel in Morogoro Region

Well! This is Africa and it is almost impossible to set expectations. The grounds around the hotel is absolutely beautiful with flowers and Palms the view of the mountains are spectacular. Bathrooms the only thing you can expect is one bath towel per person with no washcloths or hand towel. Hot water and water is sometimes not available. The toilet was leaking water so maintenance turned off water to toilet so we have a toilet that would not flush.

Hotel offered no solution.

Food is very very good. The first few days the only coffee was available was instant. Not good!

Rooms are big also clean and a great view of Garden or Mountains.

Hotel has ALOT of water damage & mole. I understand it is up for sale. We have white skin and they wanted to charge us more per night. 👎 This is the way it was explained to me. After talking to a few mangers the price was...

The hotel is good enough, with a pleasant location at outskirts of Morogoro - but that may soon change, at the rate the city is expanding... It has wonderful views of the Uluguru mountains beyond, from certain rooms, and from the large gardens. ||The disappointing aspect about this large hotel is its architecture - or rather lack of it. It has probably been built by a Chinese contractor, without the assistance of any architect. The rooms are large but soulless, no decoration. The same goes for the bar and restaurant areas: large cubic spaces, without any attempt at creating atmosphere or comfort. There are vast spaces probably intended for conferences or seminars, but they are badly connected. The positioning of staircases is not logical. ||Buffet breakfast is reasonable, filter coffee on tap. Service with a smile of course, friendly and...

I have stayed here a few times on my visit to Morogoro. It is the best hotel available in the city. I visited most all the main hotels preparing for a business event I was coordinating. Rooms are clean and spacious, all the guests I brought from out of country said that this hotel exceeded their expectations. The food is pretty good comparable to other locations. They have very good Indian food, decent attempt at American pizza, and other menus staples. Beware though...if your coming in from a long day and ready to eat, the food takes a little while for them to prepare. Lastly the staff is very kind and attentive.
