Camp Seluu — Hotel in Pwani Region

This camp is a great budget option, that i would recommend. Staff is very helpful, food is decent and plentiful.

In order to be able to make an informed choice though, let me point out some areas thar may be of concern to some:

Electricity is provided by a generator, which is turned on only at certain times. This is understandable yet not usual at other lodges. Also it isn't communicated proactively.

Wifi neither reaches all accomodations at the camp nor is it available at all times. It is only provided around breakfast and dinnertimes. Again, this isnn't a dealbreaker by any means for me, but one may want to know, more so since again it is not communicated proactively. As far as electricity and Wifi are concerned, my experiences may also not be of general nature since Tanzania's tourism has been heavy hit by Covid-measures and maybe tjis economic misfortune led to uncommon austerity measures.

The shower pressure is very low. You can shower alright but patience and adaption is required.

I would call it the best experience of my life. We had here a three days trip. In the national park we got to see all the animals we expected such as lions and elephants (even a baby too), we were so lucky!! The staff was very nice, the food was also ok, big portions, never felt hungry. Our guide was helpful and safe driver. Our time there was amazing. We were two girls traveling alone. The staff was very nice. The food was great and prepared with a lot care. They made us feel very welcome and always attending to our needs. Also the safari we booked was outstanding and we got to see everything we wanted.
