Abbiamo trascorso 7 notti al Botanica e nonostante tutti consigliassero di cambiare resort durante il soggiorno a Zanzibar, noi siamo stati felici di rimanere a Botanica per tutto il tempo. È un luogo perfetto che permette di fare pace con i propri pensieri, di calmare le preoccupazioni e di ricaricare tutti e cinque i sensi. Il giardino botanico all'interno del Lodge consente di creare un contatto diretto con la natura tradizionale dell'isola e di ammirare un magico cielo stellato di notte senza l'influenza dell'inquinamento luminoso, tipico dei nostri posti. Nonostante il Lodge non si trovi vicino a una spiaggia, è comunque possibile raggiungere ben due spiagge meravigliose a soli 10 minuti di boda-boda (scooter-taxi): la spiaggia di Pingwe - dove si trova il famoso ristorante The Rock - e la spiaggia di Michamvi - dove si può assistere a dei meravigliosi tramonti mozzafiato. Oltre ad esse, è comunque possibile girare l'isola con i dala-dala (autobus) che passano dal Lodge ogni 5 minuti. Per una rinfrescata è anche possibile usufruire della piscina e godersi un bel chiaro di luna o una bella giornata lontano dal trambusto. Ultimo ma non meno importante, lo staff è a dir poco meraviglioso. Beppe, Juma e Caterina sono sempre pronti ad aiutare e a consigliare le migliori esperienze sull'isola. Tutti vi faranno sentire come dei privilegiati, a partire dall'abbondante colazione mattutina che viene portata direttamente in camera da uno di loro. Esperienza indimenticabile, mi piange il cuore andarmene.

Es un lugar maravilloso que está gestionado increíblemente mal. Al parecer la empresa que lo lleva está cambiando. Te recibe un italiano (Giaccomo) muy majete y te explica que estás en casa, todo muy hippie y muy chulo. En medio de la selva, muy cerca de la playa, bungalows y una piscina. Pronto empiezan los problemas. Nadie ha mirado cómo está la habitación antes de darnos la llave y el grifo del baño está atascado, la ducha no tiene agua caliente, la cisterna no funciona. Colchón, almohada y mosquitera, penosos. Para poder enchufar un cargador o algo tienes que activar un generador en el suelo que hace un ruido espantoso y sólo puedes enchufarlo ahí, por lo que olvídate de secador, afeitadora o cualquier cosa que necesite un espejo o algo por el estilo. La comida no está mal, pero repetitiva y muy cara (casi 10€ por plato). El que lleva la comida también tratará de venderte cualquier excursión y lo hará como sea, así que ojo que a nosotros nos vendió una excursión y al final fue otra con unas condiciones muy distintas. Tuvimos que discutir con él por caradura. NO LO RECOMIENDO. Hasta que no aprendan un poco de profesionalidad, no iría, es un desastre. No vale sólo con la buena voluntad, si cobras tienes que ser responsable.

Excellent eco Lodge, electricity by Sun, care on consume it with non sense. Very polite and friendly staff. Kids friendly. Very safe. Swing pool for getting a splash. Needs ore ordering food but regular chops are great. So quiet. Excellent value for money in Jan 18 usd for a decent double with shared bath. 2 km to 3 beaches incl the legendary The Rock. Highly rec.

We stayed as a group of three people in one bungalow for 4 nights. The garden is beautiful and silent enough for a good rest. The pool looks great and natural so it fits with the rest. The bungalow: Minimalistic furniture and decoration, linen and pillows were already old and not that hygienic to use anymore. The breakfast: we ordered vegan breakfast and got fruits, bread, juice, coffee/ tea and our absolute Highlight: homemade hummus!

The staff was very friendly and tried to make us feel comfortable at every moment. The room got cleaned every day but unfortunately we didn't get new towels. Even after asking for some they told us that they don't have any. Additionally: ask for the price before you order food or water, we didn't and the bill surprised us at...

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at Giuseppe's place. It is a gorgeous environment and is like living in a natural garden or rainforest with countless trees, fruits and flowers all over the place - Botanica Eco Lodge is a fitting name! The room was spacious and spotless and and the bed comfortable. Giuseppe himself and his staff were extremely welcoming and proactive host, always willing to go the extra mile which meant a lot as we were travelling with our baby daughter. Giuseppe even took me out with a few of his friends to watch the Euro 2024 final at a local pub! Amazing experience all around, I cannot recommend enough! Thanks Giuseppe...

Myself and my family had a fantastic 3 night stay. It is a gorgeous environment and is like living in a natural garden or rainforest with countless trees, fruits and flowers all over the place - Botanica Eco Lodge is a fitting name! The room was spacious and spotless and and the bed comfortable. Giuseppe himself and his staff were extremely welcoming and proactive host, always willing to go the extra mile which meant a lot as we were travelling with our baby daughter. Giuseppe even took me out with a few of his friends to watch the Euro 2024 final at a local pub! Amazing experience all around, I cannot recommend enough! Thanks Giuseppe...
