Simple food and few menu options, but the food was really good. We ate here several times. The food takes some time to be prepared as everything is fresh, but it's same everywhere, Zanzibar is not a place for fast food. The staff was great, on out last night we asked for 10 samosas to take on the flight, when they were served we asked the owner to wrap them so that we could take them with us on the plane, he asked when was out flight, next days in the afternoon, he told us that the samosas would not be great by then he cancelled the order, which was already on the table and asked us to go there on the following day by 11h30 AM, they were usually closed by that time. Sea food is really good, fresh and the prices are very good. Actually it’s really a very big difference to some other places.

I got the big platter with every sea food, from which I liked the octopus the most. Also the lobster was really big.

For payment it would be better to come with shilings rather than dollar, as they might not have change.

The only downside was a wait time that was a bit high for the food to come. But overall...

Fantastic, I highly recommend it !!! Everything was delicious. The waiter/cook was the kindest person we've met during our stay in Tanzania. We had 2 dishes (shrimp and chicken) and they were both incredible ! The chef is very talented, the food was super tasty. We paid 41000 shillings for 2 dishes+ 2 drinks . Also, the place is lovely with some nice decorations ! This little restaurant will remain one of the highlights...
