We had planned a trip to Chiang Mai with friends and had been looking for a place to stay near San Kamphaeng Hot Springs and found this hotel because there were still rooms available plus I saw that there was hot spring in the bathroom. But when I saw a picture of the hot spring tub in the room, I felt that it was strange because the tub was kind of yellow. But since all the other hotels were full so I decided to book it. When we arrived at the hotel entrance, it was okay because it was shady and there were a lot of trees. But when we got to the room, we were disappointed. The bathroom has holes, which means mosquitoes or insects can definitely get inside. What makes it worse is we can be easily seen by someone from the outside! In the bathroom, there were blinds covering the windows but there's still a gap even it's completely pulled down to cover the windows. I felt unsafe when going to the bathroom. The tub for the hot spring in the room was yellow and had brown stains at the bottom. It wasn't suitable for putting my body in there, additionally, the hot spring had bad smell. The worst thing is there was no water heater. The weather was quite cool. But there was no water heater, which is a basic necessity of the hotel. As for the rooms, being bungalows, therefore it was stuffy and dense, the bed is hard, the water kettle looks like it hasn't been used for a long time. Inside there were cobwebs stuck and it looked dirty. However, there was a massage service provided by a freelance masseuse. It is not a direct service of the hotel. The masseuses named Mae On and Mae Noi gave very good massages. If anyone has the opportunity to stay at this hotel, you can ask for them. To conclude, this hotel is not recommended if you expect to be provided with basic...

Family room is decent enough. And is the only one worth booking.
The Bungalow, however, is entirely different story.
Very poor safety for Bungalow Room. The doors are padlocked from the OUTSIDE! To be fair, there are smaller bolt locks on the inside, but that's barely of any help because there is a huge gap between the door when it's close. You can practically see what's going on inside the room through the gap. Give me a bend stick, I'll show you how easy it could be broken in.
Outside of the room is very poorly lid. And the guard house are about a hundred meter away from the resort houses.
Poor cleanliness: hairs in the bath tub, trash from previous guest were still in the bin.
The staff isn't helpful, since everyone left at 6.30pm.
For guys who like adventure, it is livable, but for a lady staying alone here is just too risky.
My female friend who supposed to stay at the Bungalow room at the far end of the resort feel so unsafe that she decided to return the key and move to the Family room, where my friend and I were staying (both male), to sleep on the cold hard floor (one of us let her have the bed).
There was no refund, the only form of reimbursement she got were 3 bottles of soap. Yep, that's how much the Bungalow room should actually worth. 3...
