Staff is helpful. They try, they really do. Thats the only positive. Oh.. Theres one more its very cheap. Now o to negatives: very dirty rooms. Stains on the floor, dirty bed, Stains on sheet, dirty Windows, i had concrete on my floor by the Window. Window will not open because... There is huge hole just behind it and plaster wall few inches further. So much trafik noise that you Cant actually sleep at night. Location is ok when you stay 1 night (like i did) and went to Airport. For longer stay I do not recommend. I dont know what other have take and said breakfast is good. Its forever cold! Even when fresh at the start of serving. Poor choice(rise, rise, more rise, cold eggs, cold curry, cold salad, cornflakes with cold milk and cold są usage. Enjoy. I short: staff is ok and its super cheap, rest is bad.

It's not a 5* hotel. It offers nothing a 5*hotel should. It's very big. The rooms are nice and clean. The hotel is made for Asian buss travel groups, they coming at the evening and leaving after breakfast, the Chinese are very loud when they drink at the lobby. The area is also not the best for tourists they want to stay longer than one night. No restaurants or bars and no night life. The only chance is, to take the boat taxi (100m away) on the left direction until nanachad or Nana(16thb), than you just walk straight ahead about 5min you are direct on spot,,, shopping, bars, restaurants, nightlife and fun. But you have to be back at the pier before 20:00 for the last boat taxi.

We booked the hotel about one week agofrom booking.com. We didn’t receive any information of the hotel is currently closed until we arrived. Obviously no one there. Even though there is some lighting inside, but no one answered our call. the door is even locked by chain. I know it’s a tough time for running a hotel during COVID-19. It’s very normal for the owner decide to suspend the business during the time. But please be responsible and remove all the booking options (including the non-refundable one) from all the online agency of lodging reservations!!

Overall: |(*Read only if you’re staying for a concert at the stadium or else look away!)||Standard hotel across the broad. 1km away from Rajamangala Stadium (about 20 mins walk). We stayed here for one night when Coldplay was in Bangkok. We booked two rooms (inclusive of breakfast). 7 Eleven is attached to this hotel and lots of local foods and affordable shopping around. ||Ideal to stay if you’re going for a concert at the stadium otherwise there’s plentiful of better accommodations in Bangkok. ||Check In:|Check in was good. However they prefer to take cash for deposit and you’ll need to keep the receipt to get the deposit back upon check out. ||Rooms:|Both the rooms that were assigned to us were located at level 3. We were grateful to have it side by side. However it is really bizarre that the receptionist won’t give out additional room card as there were only 2 cards given per room (one card is needed to use in the room to get the room up and running) and there were 3 of us in one of the rooms. ||In fact, we were ushered up to our room by the staff who was looking at us suspiciously because there were a couple of times our room card was not functioning as it should. I wonder if something bad has happened here previously to have the staff behaving this way. ||Elevator:|EVEN MORE BIZZARE, |NOTE: YOU ARE TO USE YOUR ROOM CARD TO ACCESS THE ELEVATOR EVEN TO GO DOWN TO THE LOBBY (this is quite peculiar and this is the first for us to encounter such a system.)||Wifi:|Works okay ||TV:|Only one channel is able to be viewed in the room. ||Bathroom:|Separate shower stall and a toilet. There’s a bidet available. Not much amenities were given. Make sure you’ve your own toiletries or go to 7 eleven at the lobby. There’s a hairdryer but no iron or iron board in the room. ||Breakfast:|There’s an egg station for breakfast. A few choices of foods. Not too bad if you’re heading to the airport in the morning.||Parking:|Not too sure as we didn’t drive to this hotel. Please contact hotel for it. ||Pros:|Location for concert at Rajamangala Stadium. |Lots of food/stalls around. |Clean rooms. |Good shower.||Cons:|Noisy housekeepers (their walkie-talkies were left with high volume with no regard of hotel guests early in the morning) |Hard beddings|Unfriendly staff (especially the one who was ushering us to our room when our card wasn’t working...

Madison Bangkok is not close to the citycentre or any of the mass transit railway system. You can go there by car/Grab/taxi, bus, or ferry, but the latter two are not recommended for travellers with baggage. The only reason that we stayed at this hotel is its proximity to Huamark Indoor Stadium.||We arrived at Madison Bangkok in the morning and deposited our luggage at the hotel lobby. We were only back in the late afternoon and checked in to our rooms. Despite repeated written and verbal requests and were guaranteed for 2 twin rooms, we were given 2 double rooms on the 4th floor. Luckily, they still had twin rooms available and we moved to the 2nd floor which, despite its lower floor, smelled better than the 4th floor.||The room was very spacious and air-conditioned. Everything looked nice but subsequently found them less-than-nice. For instance, there were stains on the bedding and pillow case; the shower door could not be closed; the ceiling was damp. In short, the hotel rooms are not well-maintained. The Major Hollywood Shopping Plaza attached to the hotel seems to have become obsolete. The hotel offers buffet breakfast, but we didn't opt for it.||One good thing is that there is a 7-11 convenience store attached to the hotel, there is also a local street market a minute walk away. Hua Mak Town Center is just 5-minute walk away. There are Big C supermarket and different restaurant there, including the chained store that sells Victory Monument boat noodles. Oh right, a morning stroll along the river was pretty chill.||Overall, this hotel caters to mostly Asian tour groups. If you have some errands to run nearby and opt for a short stay, this might be a good choice...

I DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL All the staff is rude, unpolite, unproffesional, receptionist will not even try to speak english to me, i am the room holder i mean i am the one who book the hotel its under my name and im the one who paid for it i stay with my girl friend shes thai. Im trying to ask some inquiries they dont smile at all when werr trying to check in, when i try to talk and ask questions about amenities they act like they dont speak english even basic i find it rude why coz what if i dont have my local friend with me. They dont smile like they working that they dont want to work. We check in but theres no toiletries at all no slippers. And imagine water only once water a day. They are all rude and unwelcoming the house keeping is so loud, first day they are cleaning the other room but we can hear there voice they are so loud. I HIGHLY SUGGEST ALL OF THE TOURIST THAT U BETTER BOOK TO AIRBNB COZ ITS WAY BETTER THAN STAYING ON THESE PROPERTY. I STAY ON THIS HOTEL AT FRST DAY I WANT TO MOVE TO OTHER PROPERTY BUT I CANT CANCEL COZ I BOOKED 4 DAYS AND I PAID ALREADY, AND AFTER USE THE FOUR DAYS WE BOOK AROOM IN AIRBNB AND ITS WAY MORE BETTER THAN THE SERVICE ON THESES HOTEL. MANDARIN HOTEL IS VERY POOR OF CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY ARE NOT FRIENDLY AND UNWELCOMING TO...
