What an amazing place. It’s the furthest resort but it’s worth the extra 15/20 mins car journey. It’s a small hotel so you are looked after very well by the staff who are always on hand. Children are welcome too. The food was amazing. Every night we had something different and all was great tasty food. Price for a curry and rice is around £6 so not pricey at all as some other reviews say. There is also a local restaurant behind the hotel that serve local food too at half the price of the hotel for those looking to eat good food for less money. We travelled with our 16month old baby and one of the nights he was quite ill with a cough. the hotel organised a car for us to go to the hospital within 10 minutes of asking. we saw a doctor at the local hospital whils the driver waited with us and took us back. Luckily all was good with baby. We stayed in one of the delux villas which was amazing, spacious and more importantly, spotless and clean. Beach is lovely with the river flowing to the side of hotel which is crystal clear water as is the sea. Beautiful spot. We loved it here the 5 nights we stayed and would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and be looked after. Can’t wait to return.

Very mixed feelings with this resort. Firstly, location is quite bad. It’s very far from the pier, which warrants an extremely lengthy and bumpy ride on the truck taxi. The beach that the resort is attached to is also not the best. It’s littered with rubbish and the shoreline is really short. Next, we got the twin villa, which is a house split into 2 rooms shared by 2 different set of guests. However, the sound proofing is terrible and we can hear what is happening is the other room. On the plus sides, the resort has free kayak and paddle board, which was pretty fun. Breakfast was pretty good too.

We'll definitely come again. The rooms are spotless. It is a design hotel complete with rattan baskets, vases and objects. Everything is in shades of blue and white or made of wood and all the accessories are carefully selected. The rooms are spacious enough. The garden and the swing is very nice. We ate in the restaurant every evening and the presentation and flavors were excellent. Breakfast was tremendous! The sea is very beautiful, clean. The sand is great. we explored the surroundings by canoe. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Lovely big rooms - we stayed in a pool room one night and then deluxe the others - the rooms are exactly the same, the only difference is the private pool (which is great). We stayed with our 16month old, the cot provided was quite small - she did not have much room to roam around, and a more mobile child would likely be able to climb out of it (sides are not very high) - we had no issues though. The beds are quite hard which is not to my taste, but my wife found it comfy.||The location is right on the beach, which was basically deserted all the time we were there. Really idyllic location. The hotel is at one end of a sort of horseshoe bay - quite a bit of rubbish washed up at either side of the bay (not really an issue if you walked 100 yards towards the centre) - but they had staff sweeping up the rubbish pretty much constantly, so i can't fault them for that. There's a shop right off the beach at the front of the hotel and a couple of restaurants close by - the Sea Thru bar on the beach about 100 yards away was a personal fave.||Swimming pool is great, there's about a 4foot wide, 1 foot deep ledge that runs the length of the pool which was fantastic for our daughter who could paddle about in that to her heart's content. But as you're so close to the sea (and easily the clearest waters i've ever swam in), most people didn't bother with the pool when we were there.||When looking around for accommodation on this island, this is considerably cheaper than a lot of the 'nicer' places, obviously i can't comment how it compares in reality, but we were very happy with the place and struggle to see how places twice the price (and more) could represent good value for money.||Comment on Koh Kood, rather than this hotel - traveling around is very expensive without a moped and as we had a 16month old, i did not feel comfortable riding one with her and my wife on the back. As it was, we did one day trip with a private driver, which was great but i would have liked to have explored the island at my own pace...

At first I saw a very good review. But this is what I got from here on the first day of my stay.||||How many people are there? why so many||||Then when getting out of the car||The reception staff walked in frustrated.||sound not good at all||||The first word of welcome is||How many people come? We have reserved 2 rooms. So many people come!!||||Well, this is the receptionist. Or the staff kicked the guests out of the resort.||||So said that 2 friends stayed somewhere else.||She still made an annoyed face and asked 2-3 times where we stayed. A friend who is on the phone is asking there.||||Frankly speaking, the most impolite that I have ever traveled to all over Thailand, all over the world.||||Will ask to leave a friend's bag in the room It's not good to make a deposit.||||(Come with 9 people, reserved 3 rooms, with 1 extra bed, total stay here for 7 people||As for 2 friends, just get out of the car and book another place to stay)||||And brought only 4 glasses of welcome drink, saying that we only booked 2 rooms||||When he said why he said to the guest that Why are there so many||No, it's okay, they said they didn't pick up the call. then get frustrated||||despite having already coordinated the pick up from the boat||||At night, I saw a waiter come to check the bill. My boyfriend asked me if I had wifi.||||This person made a swaying face, sounded bad, said to go look at the counter 🙁 Very confused. The staff here||||If you lose money, just take a beautiful accommodation, worth it.||||But the service is called the worst I've ever seen.||||from real customers who lost a lot of knowledge||because he bought 9 rooms, went for another 2 nights, invited friends to come||And this is what I received within the first day of my stay.||||I don't know what else I have to find before...

Firstly I must say this place is incredible. Set on a white sand beach which is arguably the best I’ve seen in Thailand. It has a wonderful pool and areas to sit. It’s just paradise however, this hotel is let down so badly by the staff. Unfortunately some of the worst we came across in Thailand. The bar man speaks 0 English. So even ordering a drink becomes a ridiculous task and he makes no effort to understand. I cannot understand why a hotel of whom’s guests are predominantly from the west don’t employ someone who can at least smile or understand the odd English word. In fact all the staff were fairly strange and rude. We saw customers come for lunch but, just leave because of the waiters lack of English/Effort. It’s such a shame because this please has the making to be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at it just needs maybe some music and atmosphere. The place is just a ghost town filled with unenthusiastic staff. I wanted to fall in love with this place but, something is missing! The room was ok but, be warned bugs everywhere here. I appreciate this is not the hotels fault. The hotel is also completely in the middle of nowhere. So if you simply want isolation on a paradise beach this is the place for you. I think the fact it’s so isolated is why it matters so much about atmosphere and staff at the hotel because, you spend a lot of time here so you just...
