My partner and I are a remote working couple who spent the past year based out of Thai Season Villas… it’s hard to leave knowing that we’ll be hard pressed to find a more beautiful place to live and work than this one. Few distractions and beautiful views made a great environment for productivity, as did the stable internet. We rarely experienced power cuts and they were almost always short lived — the once or twice we had a full day without power Tom was considerate enough to give us a heads up so we could plan to work from elsewhere. We especially loved the location and living on the “quiet side” of the Koh Lanta, where the roads are great and tourists are less. The mosquitoes also are fewer on this side of the island and we were rarely bothered by them, even sleeping upstairs in the open air, we didn’t use a mosquito net and were okay. It also feels safer than the other side of the island and in truth, I don’t think we locked the door a single time in the year we lived there. The place itself is well cared for and Tom is quick to fix anything that goes wrong. Him and his family are friendly and happy to help but also respectful of privacy and considerate of noise. It was easy to forget we had neighbours at all. Thai Season Villas is a gem and we 100% recommend it to other digital nomads, people working remotely, or anyone looking for a quiet place to live, relax and enjoy Thailand.

If you want to get away from the busy beaches, stay at this mesmerising site at the quiet east side of the island. I can't get over the beauty of the sea view right in front of my house, the awesome sunrises, the beautiful gardens. The house is unique with the open first floor bed and living room and has everything you need. The small pool is wonderful to cool off and watch the sea; you only see the fishermen. Tom and Kan are so nice and help you with whatever you need, eg a motorbike. If you want to get to the Old Village: jump on your motorbike (10 min.), visit the sandy touristic beaches (25 min) or have good food at the Panorama restaurant next door. Surrounded only by nature is more than an impressive and unforgettable experience. Every day I enjoy living in paradise.

Terima kasih.

...under the stars. Thats how I slept every night for over a week on a provided memory foam mattress on the upstairs balcony, beyond the overhang, on the deck of one of the 4 wonderful little guest houses on the east coast of Koh Lanta. There are plenty of comfortable beds, nice kitchen and 2 bathrooms, to accommodate up to 6 people (or more) but I had one of these gems all to myself! 😊 Absolutely loved the location! Thai Season Villa is about 5 minutes from laid back Old Town and 20 minutes from the sandy beach and busy Touristy west coast of Koh Lanta. Tom and Kan were fantastic hosts and catered to my every need. Their 4 boys were great company and the 2 loyal doggies are kind and protect the property very well. Tom and his 2 year old son Ray and I went on a fishing trip on Tom's cool boat. We were on glistening emerald waters under amazing blue skies exploring islands, sandy beaches and caves. At the end, we caught a nice sized Barracuda that we were all feasting on less than 90 minutes later! Can't get fresher than that! Anyone who visits Thai Season Villa should take the boat tour with Tom. I highly recommend it! The nights here are truly amazing. Few bugs and no mosquitos!! Not even kidding!!! I really haven't slept as well as I did here, in 20 years and if you know me, that's no exaggeration! I very much look forward to coming back every year. Thailand is truly an amazing place and Tom and Kan and their family are truly good people. Very happy to have found this Resort, its houses and connected with its...

We booked our villa through Airbnb. Tom and Kan were great to work with. They answered all our questions promptly. When we arrived later in the evening they walked us through the villa and then Kan drove us to Old Town so we could have dinner. The owner of the restaurant drove us back to the villa which was very nice. ||The villa had everything we needed. Air conditioning in the bedrooms, kitchen and all the necessities, washer and clothesline. Lots of seating and a television loaded with lots of movies. ||Upstairs was open and had a pool on the balcony. We enjoyed the view. I was a bit nervous about the open concept once we arrived. We encountered monkeys on our morning walk and found a snake skin near the pool. But we had no issues and it was a cool experience. ||There’s not much nearby, so you will need some sort of transportation to get to town and the other side of the island to enjoy the beaches. But it was very relaxing and we enjoyed it. We used taxis which are plentiful on the island. There is a little roadside store and a few restaurants within walking distance. ||The owners have several dogs that wandered around the property and were very well behaved. We had the doors open and they never entered but visited us daily as we sat outside. ||Very beautiful and relaxing stay for our grown sons...
