Maybe the best hostel on the island. People who left to go elsewhere each said this was better. So I stayed for 8 days, and made legitimate friendships here that are lasting. The lovely backyard setting is good in the evenings for chats into the night, and yet the rooms are quiet. It’s not a place to party but manages to be highly social. They run daily activities too, some beach runs, yoga, meditation, family dinner. I recommend the included breakfast (for me this is rare), it’s good value and healthy. It’s also a good way to link up with your fellow travellers in the mornings. The staff in the cafe and the hostel are very nice, they look after you and they create a very wholesome vibe every day. The curtains on the beds are superb. Thick and even trap light in and out. Temperature is good. I really didn’t mind having a top bunk, because it’s so social you never need to go lie down during the day, and the curtains are so good. The beds don’t shake. There is a lamp and two power points. Free towels and free water. And amazingly, a kitchen. A few okay options for working: in the cafe, upstairs on the couch, or at the third floor seated desks. Wifi is solid and consistent. Across the road is a 7-11 and a pretty epic food court - my favourite food stall was the one which says “Teacher of cooking class”. There is parking for bikes, and an ATM. There were no downsides to the hostel, I kept extending.

Blessings is the perfect hostel for those looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. It’s the only non-party hostel in the area, focusing on yoga and meditation, making it a super calm environment. The dorms are spotless, with comfortable mattresses for a great night's sleep. There’s a small kitchen and fridge available, which is convenient. One of the best perks is the free yoga and meditation classes. Every morning, they take you to a sister location by the beach, where you can practice yoga outdoors with a stunning ocean view. They also frequently organize free activities, like visits to waterfalls or beaches. Sometimes, you just need to share a small taxi fee, but it’s totally worth it. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind, making you feel at home. The location is also ideal—close to everything: restaurants, scooter rentals, laundry, markets, the pier, and banks. If you're looking for a calm, wellness-focused stay, Blessings is absolutely worth it!

This hostel is hands down the best hostel we’ve stayed in during our travel in South East Asia! The rooms are beautiful, incredibly clean, and so cozy – it’s the perfect place to rest after a long day of exploring. The entire hostel has such a welcoming and homely vibe, and you can immediately feel the warmth of the staff. They truly make you feel like family.

Not only is the place spotless and comfy, but they offer a variety of free activities that make your stay even more special. From daily yoga classes and mandala drawing to family dinners (lot of delicious food and the price is so affordable), there’s always something fun and engaging to do. We also enjoyed the excursions and other activities they organise, which gave us the chance to connect with fellow travellers and experience the area in a unique way.

The vegan food at the café is absolutely delicious and bursting with flavour – a real treat and the coffee, as an Italian one of the best drunk here in Asia (actually the best). The bartender Chico is a coffee master. This place really does feel like a home away from home. The staff here are exceptional, and the sense of community is something we’ll never forget. After seven months of traveling in Southeast Asia, this hostel is by far the best place we’ve stayed! We will for sure...

We stayed for five days in a suite in Blessings and we loved it there. We chose the hotel because it offers free yoga and meditation and we wanted to do our own little "yoga retreat", much cheaper than in the other places. Every morning there was a free shuttle to the beach (at "colorful hut", they also offer beach bungalows there) with a yoga class and they even offered some watermelon.

Everybody was exceptionally friendly, the staff and the yoga teachers were some of the most caring, helpful people we met.

We also loved the suite, it was super clean, there was a welcome treat and drinks in the fridge, lots of storage place and a huge TV with Netflix. There was a little bit of noise from the street outside, which is fine with earplugs for sleeping. Also, I think if you want the towels changed, you have to put the room keeping sign outside.

The breakfast is from 8 am -5 pm. They give you a menu (one page) and you can choose one vegan meal (like salads, sandwiches, porridge) and a drink. They make sure not to put any extra sugar, except if you ask for it, which I loved.

Overall, we traveled for some weeks and this was my...
