The Fat Cat coffee&more — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

I just left the Fat Cat. I had been there before and was pleased especially with kittens being bottle fed by the owner. Today was a completely different experience, and one I choose to forget very soon. I ordered a breakfast bagel from the owner. ..egg, bacon, lettuce etc.One of the staff brought me the order. There was no egg on the bagel. I showed the owner the eggless bagel. They took mine and at the same time the table next to me was delivered one with an egg. So I assumed the orders just got switched. The gentleman who got my order just smiled and I smiled back. No harm done. I took two bites when the owner came to my table, and within ear shot of the entire restaurant, accused me of making trouble with the staff and causing a disturbance. Basically, their mistake became my fault. The gentleman who initially got my order came to my defence to the owner. I wrapped up my food, told the owner he just made a big mistake, and said bon appetit to the restaurant and left. I will never step foot in...

I so much loved this place during my stay on Koh Phangan! It has a great choice of healthy and unhealthy (but always delicious) food, in all the options: with meat, vegetarian, vegan. Great vegan burgers and salads, great breakfast bowls and really good coffee. And the owner has such a warm heart! Customers come to him for advice and he is always ready to help. A good soul that keeps helping animals.

I highly recommend visiting this place for its good food, great atmosphere but also remember to have a chat...

After being here for 3 times in a row, The Fat Cat Bar is great for the following reasons: Excellent Coffee & Cappuccino Banana Pancakes are heaven The owners are Portuguese, super friendly and funny! If you are lucky, you might find Pastel De Nata (classic Portuguese pastry, which is beyond amazing) The name XD Highly recommended for breakfast but you can pass by for lunch as they have some very nice burgers and sandwiches ;) P.S.
