Rakkan Resort — Hotel in Ko Phra Thong

Ignore the other recommendations they are really old: this place is heaven on earth! It is directly at the beach, maximum 1 minute walk and you will have multiple beaches with nearly no other people 🤗🏝️ The huts are really cute: with toilet, shower and a little terrace with chairs. Everyone gets a hang mat on arrival and a bottle per person to refill drinking water, which is completely free during the stay. It’s a natural paradise and really silent and calm during the day and at night!(no generators just pure nature) First day of snorkeling we saw a seaturtle and the next day we kayaked to the little island to find some corals with plenty of fish 🐟🐠 in the evening you can watch crabs in all different sizes which the most different shell houses walking on the beach🦀🐚 We never experienced such hospitality, the owners and their staff are extremely friendly and if you need something they will move the world to help you with it! Nock even organised a snorkelingtour to the beautiful Surin Islands for us 🤗 The Food and the breakfast here is very tasty with plenty of choices, as well you can find other restaurants in walking distance. If you want to stay here just call or text them, they will organize everything for you. 🤗 It’s really not complicated to get here: We took a bus to Khuraburi bus station, they picked us up and drove us to Greenview pier where our boat was already waiting. (1500 baht for the boat, but it’s cheaper if you share it with other people which go as well to the island) We will miss our Rakkan Family and can’t wait to visit again...

Bien cher pour ce que c'est. Les huttes en bois, au nombre de 12 sont regroupées par 6 de chaque côté d'une zone arborée relativement agréable. Îles bungalows sont très sommaires et très sombres donc sauf la nuit quand il y a de l'électricité, on n'y voit rien. Le plancher et les murs (ma hutte était sur pilotis) tremblent quand on marche. Les poubelles ne sont pas vidées. La propreté est toute relative. Le représentant sur place du propriétaire est très sympathique mais totalement amateur (il ne relève pas les identités ni les numéros de passeport, ce qui le met en défaut par rapport à la loi mais ça vaut aussi pour les résidents). Petit déjeuner en supplément. Médiocre comme la cuisine en général ( si vous y trouvez faute de place à prix raisonnable ailleurs, prenez vos repas à l'horizon, à côté.
