A True Gem and Oasis Near Suvarnabhumi Airport My stay at Songthai Suvarnabhumi Hotel & Homestay for two nights was a much-needed respite from the craziness and busyness of the city. It's truly amazing how close it is to the airport, a quick 10-minute drive, yet it feels worlds away. The homestay is a real gem, situated on a beautiful and serene canal. In the morning, you can see the fish swimming and hear the birds singing, creating an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast is served on a lovely veranda overlooking the canal, which is a perfect way to start the day. The breakfast itself is delicious, good, and filling. The lady who runs the place is absolutely wonderful. She is incredibly kind, speaks good English, and deserves all the excellent reviews she gets. The entire place is spotless, clean, and tidy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning works perfectly, which was a very welcome relief from the July heat. I was met by one of the owners, Lee, who was so friendly and helpful. They live in the house next door so always available for guests. She gave us bottles of water and glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice then showed us around and made sure we were comfortable. Rooms are large with fridge, kettle, coffee, work desk, large couch, wifi, TV, aircon etc. The showers are NOT "shared" as there are a few of them and each one is allocated to your own room so very private. These are just a few steps away from your bedroom door and are modern and large. Its a stunning spot surrounded by trees and gate access to the canal where fishermen go out in the morning. Pleasantly surprised. You wouldnt know you are so close to the airport. Also such a lovely little village to walk through with many restaurants 5mins walk away. Thank you...

Beautiful, authentic, cozy, clean homestay. A lot of wood in decor. Very polite and welcoming team. View of the canal, greenery and birds singing outside. Peaceful place. Only 10 minutes from the airport. Rooms have a/c, fridge, TV, tea/coffee.

We used it as a base for our one day in Bangkok between 2 flights, and had a great time, but I can imagine staying here longer to relax and enjoy a simple lifestyle. Birds keep singing beautifully all the time,and there is no traffic noise.

Keep in mind that washrooms (with toilet and showers) are separate from the rooms for technical reasons, but each room has own allocated washroom.
