It was a nice local temple to visit. The buddha statues were cool and the people working at the temple mostly kept to themselves. There were cute cats everywhere and some free-wandering dogs. I went to the temple because it was the closest temple I could find near the BKK airport and train station. But I don't recommend walking there from the station like I did. It was not safe. I was chased by a pack of dogs, followed by some people right outside of the temple, and they asked for money. After I gave them 20 baht, they got upset. It was scary. Not many foreigners go there so I was stared at a lot, too. Maybe take a grab if you have to go there but I'm not sure if you will be able to get a grab back to the station. The main Buddha statue (Luang Phor Khao) was officially founded in 1908 A.D. by the Abbott and is now housed in the Viharn. This Viharn was constructed between 1969 - 1972 to replace the old one. This is the place for making merit and religious activities.

There are countless of Buddha statues around the temple in numerous postures, although Luang Phor Khao is in marn vichai posture meaning the victory against the obstructions.
