I booked a room at FULLRICH RESIDENCE through Agoda, and unfortunately, my experience started with disappointment. Agoda only displayed photos of the most beautiful rooms, which gave me a false impression of what I was actually booking. There were no clear images of the Budget Room, so I had no idea what I was truly getting.
Upon arrival, I was shocked. The Budget Room was extremely unattractive and poorly maintained. I wasn’t too bothered by the lack of a TV, but what made the stay unbearable was the incredibly loud noise from the air conditioning unit's compressor. It was constant and intense – impossible to ignore. On top of that, the mattress was rock hard and very uncomfortable. That first night was awful. I had no choice but to stay in the room because no alternatives were available. I barely slept, waking up multiple times due to the noise and discomfort. It was a restless and exhausting night, and it left a very negative impression right from the start.
On the second day, I had booked a Premium Room, but only for one night – mainly to try it out. My plan was to return to the Budget Room afterward, but after experiencing how bad that first night was, I knew I couldn’t go back. Fortunately, I really liked the Premium Room, so I requested and paid for an upgrade for the rest of my stay.
The first night in the Premium Room was a huge improvement – I finally got some real rest. However, on the second night, everything went downhill again. Around midnight, there was a huge amount of noise – loud guests shouting in the hallways and on the stairs, and constant noise from the street right below my window. It went on for at least an hour, possibly two. There were people talking loudly near parked cars, possibly taxi drivers or other guests. I couldn’t sleep at all during that time, and to make matters worse, my wife had to wake up at 5 a.m. to go to the airport. Needless to say, that night was a disaster too.
Thankfully, all the nights after that were quiet, and I was finally able to rest properly.
Now, a final complaint – not as bad as the others, but still worth mentioning. On the last day, I left my keycard in the designated cleaning box in the morning so that housekeeping could clean the room. When I returned in the evening, the room hadn’t been cleaned. I was told maybe they hadn’t seen my card, but it was definitely in the right place. In the end, I asked for fresh towels and bottles of water, which they gave me, and they apologized – but it was still an inconvenience that I feel should be reported.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The Budget Room is absolutely to be avoided, and the Premium Room is just acceptable. On top of that, the location isn’t particularly convenient. Most importantly, future guests should be aware that the photos on Agoda can be...
Read moreI’m giving one star because zero isn’t an option. Let me start with the story: I booked a premium room, and upon check-in, they told me I had to wait 20 more minutes because they were fixing the AC. That wasn’t the main issue. After 20 minutes—which turned into 50—we went up to the room, only to find it wasn’t the one I had booked or the one shown in the photos.
As soon as I entered, I went back to reception to tell them that this wasn’t the room I had reserved and that it wasn’t premium. The woman responded that it was indeed a premium room (which was impossible—it was small, the sofa was broken and covered with an ugly, dirty blanket, and the bathroom didn’t have glass walls). After half an hour of arguing, she admitted it wasn’t a premium room and offered me the premium suite since the room I had booked was occupied by other guests. I told her it wasn’t my fault that my reserved room wasn’t available. After a long time, I managed to get them to move me to the premium suite for one night, and the next day they would give me the room I had originally booked.
But it didn’t end there. The woman told me, “Okay, tomorrow between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM we’ll move you.” The next day at 1:45 PM, I went down, and the woman wasn’t there; instead, there was a different man at the desk. I had to argue again because he claimed the room we were in was better (which wasn’t true). I told him I didn’t care—I wanted the room I had booked. After another half hour of discussion, he agreed to move me. All this wasted a huge amount of time I could have spent visiting and doing things in Bangkok.
Anyway, when they finally moved me to the new room, everything was in poor condition—dirty and many things broken. The bed was just a wooden plank. And on top of that, they advertise a swimming pool among their amenities, but it’s a lie. Don’t ever go to this “hotel,” if it can even be called that. The service is terrible, and they try to scam you. Many people have had the...
Read moreThe service quality here is so bad. I have never had such a bad experience in any hotel. The first day, right after we checked in, the receptionist gave us a room that was not the same as the description they posted on Agoda. We booked a premium studio room but they handed us a regular room and said “This room is the same price as the room you booked and your reserved room is currently unavailable”. In addition, we had to pay a deposit of 1000 baht to be able to check in and that made us feel very disappointed and deceived. In the following days, nothing happened until the last day we stayed there. On the last day, right when we wanted to check out, they said they did not agree to return the deposit to us. They said we had to notify the hotel before checking out, and the time to notify and check out must be during office hours from 7:00 A.M to 12 P.M. More importantly, those are check-out rules they never told us when checking in, the receptionist only said that the check-out time is before 1:00 P.M. The time we checked out was around 4:30 A.M., and without informing them in advance, they refused to return our deposit. Although we tried to convince them for 45 minutes, they still had no intention of returning our money. The receptionist at that time did not understand English well so he called the hotel owner to discuss but instead of solving the problem, they laughed and joked, treating us like their joke. Eventually, we decided to take a taxi to another hotel of our friend's with no refunded deposit and went to the airport to catch our flight back home. P/s: I hope no one will come to this deceitful...
