The café owner K’Jeab arguably serves one of the best espresso in Bangkok.

The shop offers only takeaway orders, no sit in since COVID outbreak era. K’Jeab always pays his full concentration to extract prefect shot of espresso. The espresso shot gave me a firm mouthfeel of berries and bright acidity notes with sweet touches of brown sugar with chocolate. The layers of flavors complexity smoothly blend into solid harmony.

This place might not be a suitable choice for those who seek for fancy hospitality, but if your top priority is decent coffee, you can’t go wrong with espresso here.

I saw previous review mentioned about pre-made shots for iced americano order. I don’t really know how K’Jeab designs his café workflow while I got fresh-made one takeaway Americano from my latest visit. The most amazing, most literally named coffee shop in Bangkok.

I visited for a few times after seeing a recommendation from a coffee aficionado group I follow.

As you walk in, greet the owner and then order your espresso. He will get you a glass of water. A Ristretto will then be served and you can immediately enjoy it and savor the taste. Soon after, sip that cold water and feel that coffee aftertaste open up.

Shop owner is one-of-a-kind. He’s the best at Ristretto, and he understands his coffee blend the most. Don’t expect 5-star hotel level of service here, but be amazed by the fact that his ristretto shots are very authentic, tight, and very complex.

House blend coffee blends are on a rotation and there's no need for you to choose.

I love coffee and this place is a must stop destination if i pass Nakniwas, the expresso from here gave you a variety of coffee notes, barista / owner could extract all of them out in to one expresso shot, if you can drink pure expresso shot, you must try at here.

The owner are very detail in all ingredient, ice, milk are also selected the best one that blend perfect with the coffee.

The green tea here is also good, you can feel the taste of matcha with less sweet.

Note: as this shop run by 1-2 ppl, so need to give time to barista to concentrate on his work. And if you give respect to owner you will get it...
