I stayed at NooM Guesthouse for 2 nights. The women at the bar and the owner speak English very well. They helped me to plan my day and were very friendly and helpful, I even got a Water when I arrived. The guesthouse is in walking distance to all the sights and the railway station. On Wednesday there is a night market right in front of the Guesthouse from 4-9pm and you can try a lot of regional dishes. Also there is a night market when you walk towards the train station along the street where you get some good, low budget food. They also offer breakfast and other meals but I would more likely explore the surrounding street markets because the food at the Guesthouse is quite expensive. Across the road there are some cafes where you can enjoy a Ice tea or whatever you want. They have quite fast internet and wifi on both floors. The Shared Bathroom seems newly renovated and was always clean. My Room was big for a single room and had everything you needed. It was a nice stay and with a very friendly environment! .

This is an old wooden house. The booking page shows that the dormitory room has air conditioning, but it doesn't actually have it, so it's like a sauna in the room. It's very painful. The house is made of wood, and it's not soundproof. The first floor is the hotel's own bar, which is very noisy until the early morning. Because the room is very hot, there are many mosquitoes. If you plan to stay in the dormitory, you must prepare mosquito repellent. The walls of the room are wooden boards, so it is very hot at noon, and the room is like an oven. The blanket on the bed doesn't seem to be changed every day. The attitude of the service staff is not very good, thinking that the older lady doesn't smile. The dormitory room pays 200 baht on the spot. The only advantage is close to the railway station.Provide motorcycle rental service

Old but clean and well maintained Thai's traditional style room, Helpful and friendly staffs that give me a map and explained to me about every single spots in it. Their restaurant and cafe has great atmosphere but foods are too oily for me. Most I'm concerned about this place is my private double bed room. 1. The bathroom drainage is very bad so I have a flood up to my ancle after 10 minutes shower. 2. They install a water heater the wrong way, Which is quite dangerous, Yes, they work. But it will ruined the parts inside and can cause harmful effects. 3. There's just one power outlet in the room, next to the door, under the table. Another one is in a bathroom.

My husband & I stayed at Noom Guesthouse for 2 nights on a weekend trip away from the city. Online reservations were simple through their website. The location is just a short walk from the train stations, easy to find. The front desk staff spoke good English & were very friendly and welcoming. Small deposit for the room key, then we were showed to our room, which was in their second building a block away. They said this building is quieter, since it is away from the restaurant and lounge area. The whole place & town seem fairly quite overall, so I wouldn't make this a deciding factor when evaluating which building to stay in. We stayed in a private, fan-cooled room, which was a little dark, but spacious with lots of older furniture for storage and organization. We felt fairly secure in the room with its lock and the gate outside which is locked at night. The room was cool enough with the fan and windows open (which have screens so no monkeys or bugs get in). The bathroom is a shared bathroom with a spacious, hot water shower. The WiFi in the second building was very spotty, but the internet in the lounge at the main building worked well. Not a big deal as a weekend away from the world isn't really a bad thing. Restaurant had good food, variety of Thai & Western options. Prices were midrange. We also rented a motorbike for the day for a good value. They don't have a policy to return it filled with gas. When we rented the bike, it was almost empty, so we filled it before the trip. We ended up only using half a tank, therefore spending a bit more on gas than we actually used, but not a big deal (small tank, not much baht to fill it). They also offer tours, which we didn't use, but it's nice to have the option available. We would stay here again and recommend...

I was actually staying in Noom 2, which is just around the corner from Noom 1. I didn't know this in advance but it didn't matter; it was only a 2 minute walk between the two buildings, so it wouldn't have affected my decision when I booked. I had a single private room which was fine; the surface of the desk wasn't very clean and the fan didn't do much to cool the room down - it also sometimes stopped working, or made a horrible cracking sound as it went round... But that wasn't too bad. The location was ideal, very nearby all the temples and about a 5 minute walk from the train station. The staff were somewhat helpful; they gave me a map, but you can't book your onward travel through them, you have to go to the train or bus station and do it yourself. That's not too bad but it's nice to be able to book a whole journey in one go. They also gave me slightly misleading information about how to get to Kanchanaburi - turns out I needed to get a train to Ayutthaya, then a bus to Suphan Buri, then a second bus from there, but they didn't seem to be aware of that. The monkeys outside the window at night make it hard to sleep sometimes because they're so loud, but that's part of the experience of being in Lopburi. For what I paid this was only okay, but there are limited choices in Lopburi so I would...
