Orasa Hotel — Hotel in Mae Sai district

Just finishing my excellent breakfast and had to take the time to compliment this hotel and staff. ||They thought of everything. Very new and clean hotel - spotless.||Rooms and bathrooms are equipped with everything. Bed and pillows very, very comfortable. ||Had several choices for breakfast - I had the pan of eggs and different meats. Delicious. Brought me fruits and a small sandwich first.||Staff very helpful and friendly |Sorry, don't actually know if they speak English, my Thai is good.||Parking a bit strange. [please "like" if this is helpful] Ratings are relative to the locale. This hotel offers the most consistent: good service, contemporary clean atmosphere, quality food (for breakfast cafe and restaurant/bar/cafe).

Parking is difficult for all buildings in the immediate area. The hotel has a parking lot for guests a few blocks away, and a courtesy transport between the hotel and parking lot.

Live music at the restaurant/bar might keep early sleepers awake, but simple earplugs from Global House help ensure a good night sleep.

The restaurant is equally consistently good quality. I usually eat all my dinner meals there.

Breakfast is generous. In addition to the coffee and juice bar, cooked food freshly made to order. Vegans are accommodated (tofu).

This is an example of quality professional hosting, which is generally not common...

โรงแรมน่ารัก บริการดี ที่ตั้งอยู่ในทำเลดี แต่ที่จอดรถต้องไปจอดในซอย แล้วทางรร.จะมีรถกอล์ฟไปรับ ซึ่งน้องที่ไปรับก็ทำหน้าที่ต้อนรับตรงเคาน์เตอร์ด้วย น้องขยัน สู้งาน ยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใส น่ารักมากค่ะ

เจ้าของเล่าให้ฟังว่าเปิดช่วงโควิด เปิดได้สามเดือนต้องปิดเมือง สามปีกว่าที่ผ่านมาสู้หนักมากเพราะดอกเบี้ยยังอยู่ แต่ก็พยายามอดทน จนมีวันนี้ วันที่โรงแรมมีลูกค้าเต็ม ทั้งห้องพัก คาเฟ่ หรือบาร์ ฟังแล้วชื่นชมความพยายาม อดกลั้น อดทน ในช่วงเวลายากลำบากที่สุดก็เป็นช่วงเวลาที่เขาค้นพบความเข้มแข็งสูงสุดของตนเอง

วันที่ไปเหลือห้อง Deluxe เพราะเป็นช่วงงานศพครูบาแสงหล้าฝั่งท่าขี้เหล็ก ราคา 1550 บาท/คืน ห้องกว้างกว่าห้อง standard แต่ accessories อื่นๆ และ rain shower เหมือนกัน ควรเลือกพักชั้นสามขึ้นไป เพราะกลางคืน เสียงจากบาร์ข้างล่างจะดังนิดหนึ่ง ตัวโรงแรมดัดแปลงจากห้องแถว จึงมีข้อจำกัดหลายอย่าง แต่การออกแบบถือว่าดีทีเดียว

ด้านล่างมีคาเฟ่ กลางคืนเป็นบาร์ มีเบียร์สด เครื่องดื่ม ดนตรีเล่นสด มีอาหารและหม่าล่าให้เลือกสั่ง(โรงแรมมีร้านหม่าล่าอยู่ในซอยข้างโรงแรมด้วยค่ะ) พนักงานน่ารัก บริการรวดเร็ว แม้ต้องเดินเสริฟหม่าล่าจากร้านด้านหลังห่างไปประมาณร้อยเมตร น้องๆก็ยังยิ้มเดินตัวปลิว จริงๆเขามีจักรยานไฟฟ้า รถสามล้อไฟฟ้า แต่คงไม่ทันใจน้องๆหลายคนจึงเดิน บรรยากาศนั่งสบาย ลมเย็นค่ะ

อาหารเช้า มีให้เลือก 3 แบบ คือแบบขันโตกอาหารเมือง ข้าวผัด หรืออเมริกันเบรคฟาสต์ ห้องอาหารอยู่ชั้นใต้ดิน มีขนมปัง กาแฟ นม น้ำส้มแยม เนยให้ แต่ที่ประทับใจคือ มีถุงมือพลาสติกให้สำหรับกินขันโตกอาหารเหนือ ใส่ใจ คิดละเอียดมากๆค่ะ

ที่ตั้งของโรงแรมอยู่ใกล้ด่าน สามารถเดินเที่ยวได้ทั้งสองฝั่ง เดินไปตลาดเช้าแม่สายได้ไม่ไกลเกิน (800เมตร) ใกล้ 7-11 ร้านขายยาฟาสซิโน มีโต้รุ่ง และบริการนวดตัวบ่าไหล่ อยู่ใกล้ๆ เรียกว่ามีสีสันทั้งกลางวัน กลางคืน

มีเรื่องตลกคือแม่บ้านใส่คอนดิชั่นเนอร์ กับครีมอาบน้ำสลับขวดกัน ทำให้ตอนชะโลมครีมนวดผม ฟองฟอด และพออาบน้ำก็ตัวนุ่มลื่นค่ะ
