Centara Korat — Hotel in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Dear Centara Hotel, I have contemplated for a while on how to write this review, but the noise from the wedding party has pushed me to do so. We, staying in room 1705, have been at Centara for 9 days now, with a total booking of 18 days ahead of us. We chose Centara Hotel hoping for a peaceful night's sleep, but unfortunately, that seems impossible due to the thin walls which allow every noise to penetrate through. Whenever someone rings the doorbell in the adjacent rooms, it echoes in our room, often waking us up in the mornings, thinking someone is calling us. It turns out to be visitors for the neighboring room every time. @hotel Management, it is your job to handle it! I reported to the staff of the hotel also today and the day before to the room maid as well, but nothing is fixed ..

I reported the noise from the neighboring room to the reception one night, and after three calls, it finally became quieter. However, today on March 30th, I feel like I'm staying in a nightclub. Despite complaining over the phone, the receptionist informed me that there's a wedding today and promised to address the noise, but unfortunately, it hasn't quieted down at all. My six-year-old son can't fall asleep at night due to the noise, which is not conducive to relaxation. We are on the 17th floor, and the rooftop bar is on the 20th floor. When events are held there, guests have to endure loud music until 2 am or later. The staff is courteous, polite, and very kind. However, considering the price we paid (Centara is not cheap), not being able to sleep or rest properly is unacceptable to me. I am angry about the situation and I am not happy with our stay so in conclusion, I will never book Centara again. It is not a accommodation for more than one night. While its distance from the city center didn't bother me, paying a lot of money and not being able to sleep peacefully makes Centara NOT an option for me! UPDATE APRIL 3RD, 2024 Thank you for the gesture of making things right, but the fruit platter with 9 pieces of fruit was nice, however, we wouldn't come back. That was disappointing. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a stylish bathroom. The large windows offered panoramic views of the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's rooftop infinity pool. The pool offers stunning views of the city and is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. The hotel also has a well-equipped fitness center and a spa, both of which I enjoyed using. The breakfast buffet at Centara Korat was one of the best I have ever had. There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including both Thai and international options. The quality of the food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Check in was pleasant and easy but when we went up to the room not only the hall was dirty with debris but the room was also and nobody bothered to clean it throughly plus stains on sofa and the TV had nasty had prints all over it. The room and TV were fairly good size but everything else felt 90s generic basic brown office furniture feel. Unfortunately I'm not done, so to the credit of the staff once we went back down to the front desk they changed the room but no upgrade just changed the room to a lower floor but it was a lot cleaner. Big Shower area and modern if your wondering . OK we thought let's put it behind us and checkout the rooftop restaurant that they were promoting with signs in the lobby and elevator. The roof top restaurant pool and layout was nice but they had many items on the menu that were advertised but not available. On top of that no liquor and the bar had almost nothing. For a new 4 star modern hotel and restaurant this needs lots of improvements. Staff seemed nice at greeting but they need to work on more than being friendly and the things mentioned , especially if you pay a premium, keep in mind there are many hotels in the area so there should be a since of competition . This was my experience at the present time so I hope they make adjustments and then it might be a good option especially connected...
