C&C Nan Hostel — Hotel in Nan Province

Dirty rooms. Arrived arounf 7 pm to staff who weren't expecting me [hadn't checked emails]. No English spoken. Shown to a room [I carried 3 bags up the stairs with no offer of help]. The room was dirty and had lightbulb in sink area missing. Went back down and asked for lightbulb but was told they didn't have so they offered to get another room ready.. 20 minutes later I was given the key to the room ~ not convinced bedding had been changed on both beds so I chose the cleaner looking one.. bathroom had been sprayed down using the hose from the cistern and left wet.. Broken soap dish from the shower was on the window ledge behind the door and had previous guest's soap still on it.. A pair of bikini briefs was hanging on the air con unit also from the previous guest.. By the light of day the following morning it was clear that the floor of the room had not been mopped. Staircases and corridors were left dirty the 2 nights I was there. Reception area smelled of the puppy that was kept there~ bin in free coffee area was overflowing despite me not seeing any other customers whilst I was there.. On checkout day, I rented a bike and was told to leave it inside and leave my key on the counter as the staff were going out for the day... Moved to a hotel closer to...

Great hostel for the money! I booked a dorm bed and they ended up giving me my own room for the same price. They run a restaurant with reasonable prices but alcohol is not allowed on the property. You can rent a bicycle or motor scooter but the second bike they rented me broke 2km from the hostel. No English is spoken but they want to help you anyway they can. For what it's worth the hostel is right across the street from the hospital. The room was decent with a powerful airconditioner and soft enough bed. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner and they seem to have an ant issue. I would stay here again but would like to see some...

เข้ามา 2 ทุ่ม ประตูล๊อค ไม่มีพนักงานสักคน โทรติดต่อไม่ได้ ต้องนั่งรอจนมีแขกห้องอื่นมาถึงมีคีย์การ์ดเข้าได้ ถ้าต้องใช้คีย์การด์ในการเข้ามาทำไมไม่แจ้งตอนเช้าที่ฝากกุญแจไว้ เข้ามาต้องมาหากุญแจห้องเอง ดีนะที่หาเจอ ไม่งั้นต้องนั่งรอจนกว่าพนักงานจะกลับมา ต้องลงไปหยิบน้ำขวดเอง ผ้าเช็ดตัวไม่เปลี่ยนให้ เตียงนอนไม่ได้ทำ ทั้งที่แจ้งไว้แล้ว เข็ดจริงๆ ไม่เคยเจอแบบนี้ ถ้าพนักงานไม่พอทำไมไม่รับเพิ่ม เสียดายว่าห้องพักพอใช้ได้สมราคา Hostel ทำเลดีเดินทางสะดวก ...
