Baan Bum Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Nan Province

its such a shame we were recommended to go there, firstly we were sat at a table the waiter gave us menus, I ordered drinks as soon as we sat down, but he still stood there while we were looking at the menu. I told him to get the drinks then once we had decided what we were eating we would call him back. drinks came and my wire ordered a salmon salad I ordered a beef strip and pepper stir fry. my wife's salmon salad came within minutes, while I was left for 15 minutes waiting for my food to arrive. now its not rocket science to work out the salmon being a raw fish dish only wants plating up with the salad, when the other meal is ready to be plated. that way both meals can be served at the same time. its nice when a couple can eat together, just for your information they only had 4 other guests in the resturant and they had already eaten when we arrived, so it wasn't busy. we won't be going back, when we eat out we like to eat together. real shame as we were looking forward to making it a regular venue...

Looks lovely externally, garden area and even restrooms look nice with touches that make it more refined. Inside is more of the same design, bar and seating area is nice with bespoke looking tables and chairs all themed. It has an area for live music im guessing in evenings, the beer and wine selection looks good although i just opted for a singh which was fairly priced. For around 600 HKD we got roasted pork ribs (soft and tender) Mediam Steak (juicy and soft) 2 Spaghettis (I didn't try) Papaya Salad (I didn't try) Salmon Shashimi (Fresh) Cheese baked spinach (OMG the warm stretching cheese and flavors were amazing)

1 Beer 1 milk tea 2 red glasses wines 1 bottled water 1 can of coke

the price and food were just amazing! New place, no crowd, food came fast. can sit inside a pup like darker area, glass walled green house area or outside with nice trees in a quiet area away from the main street.
