We loved our stay here. The location is lovely, in a quiet area just north of Phuket with a stunning beach and hotel grounds. The pool is gorgeous with a swim up bar, and a lounge area includes beautiful beach front access with lounge beds, hammocks, complimentary towels and even snorkel equipment. The service was wonderful, kind, and very helpful and the restaurant is delicious!! The breakfast buffet is incredible value. We loved watching the sunset every night with a cocktail on the beach. The rooms were clean and spacious. It’s felt very romantic but also very kid friendly with a soccer area and beach volleyball. We appreciated that the hotel staff let us know as soon as our room was ready (early around noon) since we arrived in the morning. Drink lots of coconuts and you must order the mango sticky rice. There are also a couple other restaurants just a few minutes walk down the beach. They have an app they help you download that was very helpful to navigate the resort and get the most out of all of its amenities.
It’s a solid 4 star hotel not 5 stars. They lack the staff and upkeep to be 5 stars. This didn’t bother us but know ahead of time if you are someone who has stayed at a five store hotel and is expecting that level of elegance and service then you will be disappointed. The five star hotels on Phuket are at least twice as much as the hotel so you get what you pay for here. We carried own bags to our rooms, and though nice and clean, the rooms could use a glow up. If we return I would get a garden level suite as the two level deluxe rooms are unnecessary. The downstairs level doesn’t have the right furniture to make it a usable space so it’s just an extra set of stairs to walk to up to your room. I’d recommend the hotel add a desk, larger plush couch, and a dining room table in the first level of those rooms to fill the space. And more towels please! No hand towels were ever provided and only one small bath towel per person. Should be two. Also better coffee option in room and or brew coffee at breakfast. It was irritating to have to walk across the hotel and then wait in a line to use the automatic espresso machine since only one person could make a drink at a time and it took several minutes.
For us to return they would need to make it more vegan friendly. There were no soy or other non dairy milks provided at breakfast or in the coffee machine and most Thai dishes didn’t offer tofu as a protein. Please add some tofu dishes and meat free congee to...
Read moreMy wife and I spent 8 nights at Natai Beach Resort as part of a Luxury Escapes deal in October. We really enjoyed our stay. The resort is located a bit out of town and this suited us as we do not like the busy city environment. We pre-arranged a minivan from the airport and this worked well. Our room was good although we did have some issue with fuse blowing leaving our bathroom in darkness. The team tried their best to sort the problem each time and we eventually got on top of it. The language barrier was a problem but it always is in a non English speaking country. Weather was crap initially but you cant control Mother Nature right? It did not matter anyway as our room was right by the pool so when the rain came, we retreated to our room and its outside (and still warm) deck area to read and relax. When the sun broke through again, we headed back to the pool area. The pool itself was lovely. Really nice and relaxing lying by it in the sun, then jumping in to cool off. The ocean was only about 30 meters away but for the majority of our stay, was a little rough for my liking. I prefer fresh water anyway so that was ok. The beach was itself very nice, although littered with pollution as is often the case in these Asian locations. Humans cause this and it is a real shame because it really does spoil a beautiful environment. The resort staff did go to the effort to clean up in front of the resort each morning but this problem is never ending and the plastic and other waste just comes back with the next tide. Not the resorts fault though. The free cocktail hour was a nice touch. Sitting by the pool - cocktail in hand. Perfect! The restaurant was fantastic. Staffed by the most wonderful friendly team - we really enjoyed it. We ate there every day for breakfast buffet and also for dinner. Because the resort is a little way off the beaten track, there is not a great deal to do nearby if you do not have a vehicle. Perfect if you just want to relax by the pool or take short walks along the beach. We did rent a car so we could sightsee a little but it turned out to be a waste of time as it sat in the carpark most of the time. After a horrible drive though Phuket for hours to see the Big Buddah (waste of time), we much preferred to stay on site and just bask in the sun. Would TOTALLY recommend a stay at Natai Beach Resort. 5 star it is not and it does need continued maintenance but we were very happy. A lovely place for a...
Read moreDear Management teamI am writing to share my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, this visit was not a pleasant experience compared to my previous stays, where I had received clean rooms and excellent service from your staff. On the day of check-in, I made a same-day booking for a double bed room. I understand that availability might be limited for last-minute reservations. Upon arrival, the male staff at the front desk informed me that only a twin-bed room was available that night and asked if that was acceptable. I agreed without any issue and was given Room 558. Another staff member escorted me to the room. After dropping off my luggage, I went out for a walk by the beach and did not inspect the room thoroughly. When I returned and looked for drinking water, I could not find any. I called the front desk to ask if complimentary drinking water was provided. The staff confirmed it was, and said it should be near the closet—but after checking again, there was clearly no water in the room.I also noticed that the room was not clean. There were pine needles on the table, and even termites in several spots. It gave the impression that the room was not ready for guests. When I informed the front desk, they explained that the room was a "spare room" used for last-minute bookings. I found this quite unacceptable. If the room is not in a proper condition to be sold, it should not be assigned to any guest.I then requested a room change. Initially, I was told the hotel was fully booked. I insisted again, asking if truly there were no other available rooms. After a short wait, the staff informed me that Room 552 was available—also a twin-bed room. I agreed to take a look. When I was taken to Room 552, I found that it actually had a double bed (not twin as I was told) and was slightly cleaner than the previous room. I told the housekeeper I would like to move to this room. After the move, no one from the front desk contacted me to apologize or follow up about the issue. The only gesture I received was from the housekeeper who brought the new room key along with a voucher for one complimentary of drink . I chose not to make a fuss further as I did not want to waste my time during what was supposed to be a relaxing stay.I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve the quality of room maintenance and the service provided by your team, especially in handling complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction.Best...
