A2 Pool Resort Phuket — Hotel in Ratsada

One of the unprofessional staff I have ever seen in my life, I’ll never recommend such a hotel to anyone ever in my life

The story is:-

While checking in we clearly spoke to the staff at check in counter that we will be checking out at 1300 hrs on which they agreed

Later the room was also not very good the bathing tub was not functional but it was ok and we were able to manage it

Later at 1205 the next day the lady Named May from reception called me and asked me to check out in 10 min on which I asked them to wait till 1300hrs as per my discussion with the hotel staff on which The lady May threatened me to call police if I don’t checkout in next 10 min, so on this I asked them to call the same staff who helped to checkout and they refused to do so

After this I quietly checked out without taking shower and using washrooms as I didn’t wanted to create a scene in a foreign country

But this is the epitome of rudeness and unprofessional behaviour shown by this lady May, before this i used to think that Thai people are very polite but this lady changed my thinking about Thai people.

This hotel is fine if you know what you're getting. It's not near anything so you will need a car or taxis and taxis in Phuket aren't as cheap as they are in Bangkok. We had a standard room for one night and an upgraded room for our second. The second room was clearly better in terms of space but they both had the problem of small bugs on the floor. The pictures imply there is a decent sized pool but really it's a small horseshoe shape that you can only comfortably access from the nicer rooms. The restaurant closes really early and there's no food places around unless you go searching at least 5 to 10 minutes walk away which is fine if it's in the day but at night you're walking in the road in the dark next to a dual carriageway, so make sure you don't get hungry. The staff struggled to communicate with us as they couldn't speak much English which is fair, we should have tried to learn more thai, but they didnt make much effort to try whereas we were downloading translation apps||Wouldnt stay here if you cant speak Thai and want a tourist experience|Rooms were clean and spacious and the TV was alright with random movies...

We really enjoyed our stay at A2 pool resort, the staff were friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. We had a room that lead directly out to the pool which was absolutely amazing! I loved being able to just sit and dip my feet in or hop in at any time. The rooms were clean and well styled, a few upkeep things need doing like the shower seals and marks in the bath, but nothing too much. The pool area looks lovely and is of good temperature - also love the kayaks! We only ate in the restaurant one evening but the food was lovely! The only downside is the internet connection - it cuts out every couple of minutes which was tricky when trying to connect with family or plan our days ahead. The hotel is based a short taxi ride away from old town Phuket and other areas, which are cheap and easy to book through the bolt app. Other than the WiFi we would recommend...
