Capital O 75514 Vasidtee City Hotel (Suphanburi) — Hotel in Suphan Buri Province

Work related visit. Initial difficulty spotting hotel entrance. There's a very prominent Hotel club before the hotel entrance. A co-worker did express how loud the club was one morning - his room was right over the club. Hotel lobby was very appealing. There was a cute sitting area with modern colorful furniture. Staff were very pleasant and attempted to speak English. Staff were also very accommodating with room lock outs. A couple times given the wrong key or told key not there (language barrier). Room was a little shabby around the edges. Housekeeping was a little slow in charging sheets/towels (very pleasant staff, though). Drapes were stained in places as well as bed blanket. Rooms had great color lights, though- pretty. Only two hangers in a double bed room... One large control for lights, air con and T.V. Bathroom had great large marble counter. No tub... Thin towels. No soap for hand wash. Limited toiletries. Hot water never was hot-only tepid. Finally realized there was an old band aid on the wall of the shower... I was on the second floor in the back. Had no problems with internet connections. Not many electrical outlets in room, though. Limited English speaking TV channels. My floor had a glass enclosed "conference-like" room with great chairs. Not sure about the Air Con in room/hotel as my allergies kicked in bad after my third day there. Continental breakfast was okay. Well stocked. Great small Thai eateries in general area. Lots of street vendors if you're okay with eating from a street vendor. 7/11 shop practically across the street and across from that shop is a laundry shop. Another laundry shop that will wash, dry and fold your clothes for a great price down the street from that laundry shop. A couple Vet clinics nearby! and a large Tesco Lotus Shopping Center within walking distance. An even larger Mall within tuk tuk or seong-tow ride away. A couple of markets and lots of shops within walking distance. Lot's...

This was the 4th time staying at the Vasidtee and what a Mess it is in. We booked in for 15 nights and paid in advance due to past experiences..... What a Mistake this was. The hotel has deteriorated over the last 3 years and badly in need of redecorating but I believe the management will not do anything or spend any money. We were supplied with a superior room No 422 and the first thing we noticed was the dust everywhere and looked like it had not been cleaned for many weeks. They offered to clean the room while we waited. Then they offered us another room 509 which was cleaner but the springs were coming through on the bed. We asked for a new bed but were taken back to room 422. On inspection the room was still not cleaned properly so we had the manager come and showed her the problem. They then had the room cleaned properly. Over the next few days we had a catalogue of disasters such No bathrobes or clean towels unless requested. We made numerous complaints and even asked for a refund so we could move to a superior hotel. No chance of a refund. Breakfast cold and unappetising. After the first week the service did improve slightly. I do not blame the staff because they did the best under the circumstances. The noise from the Club downstairs and Karaoke upstairs is unbelievable until 5am every morning. This hotels problems are the management and owners (who we do know and talked to). one word sums up this hotel...

I came to this hotel because of a special event. The rooms are ok not very clean and the beds are very hard and the staff just seem not with it. We had a issue with the safe as it was broken and had to call down 4 times for them to come up each time saying they would be their right away!!!.||||We asked for a second pillow as they are very thin, this took about 3 calls then me having to go down stairs and get one.||||The breakfast in the hotel is stone cold they put all the food in the silver servers what you see at most hotels but they don't keep them heated, so better stick to toast if you are a westerner or fruit.||||Their is a night club attached to the hotel which i must admit looks very good for a club but when we tried to order a drink of the menu 95% of all the drinks were not available, I have never been to a club that has run out of all drinks apart from a whiskey drink (Hong Thong) or one type of beer.||||I am still searching for a decent hotel in this area so you don't have a lot of choice just don't expect a lot when you arrive.||||If the manager employed staff that treated the guest like any normal hotel then they would get much...
